Chapter 1
REX POV
I suddenly woke up remembering today was the first day of school, I immediately rushed to the bathroom and got ready for school. After 15 minutes of getting ready I rushed down to see my sisters already dressed and ready for school "Who ate my ice cream" Andrea said while looking at the empty bucket of ice cream "Ohh that would be me, and let me just say the ice cream was delicious " I said as I took some cookies from my other sister Victoria "I will kill you!!!" Andrea shouted as she chased me around the house "OK I am sorry I will get you two more buckets of ice cream, just stop chasing me " I said as I used Victoria as a shield "Hmmmmmm, ok " Andrea agreed and I finally let go of Victoria "mom and dad already went to work but mom said she and dad would be back late so...." Mom and Dad are usually never around they go to work 4 times a week and the remaining three days they work from home. I know dad is a police officer but I never really found out what my mother did for a living " ok stuff let's get to school, Victoria what is the time "I asked Victoria since she was closest to the clock and my phone was shut down "hmm 7:30 am" she said picking her backpack and leaving the house and getting into my car "ok since it is 7:30 I might reach you guys school buy few minutes after eight and reach my school around 9:00 am" around 45 minutes later I dropped Andrea and Victoria at school " you know when I said it was 7:30... It was 8 O'clock" my face widen in shock as Victoria smiles at me devilishly "better hurry up now, you do not want to be late for school on your first day" I hit the gas and drove it as fast as I could, not minding the speed limit, I managed to reach school few minutes after nine. I parked my car and rushed to get my new schedule, as I was running I bumped into Wills Maxwell the hottest guy in school, we both fell on the floor and I was on top of him and our faces were inches from each other none of us attempting to make a move, his lips inches from mine I can feel his breath against mine and my heart started pumping uncontrollably. I have had a crush on Wills since our freshman year but I never attempted to talk to him even though he is friends with almost everyone I am too scared to talk to him "You can get off me now" Will said looking uncomfortable "Oh sorry... I am sorry" I said as we both got up "No worries people fall all the time, you are Rex right" he said pointing to me "Hmm yeah," I said looking nervous "That's good to know, well it was nice bumping into you but I have to get to class," he said waving at me and leaving. I suddenly remembered that I was late for class and rushed for my first class. I tried to enter the class without the teacher knowing "You are late Mr. Tallman" Mrs. Omar said while looking at the board "I am sorry Mrs. Omar it won't happen again" I said as I sat close to Cleo my best friend. Me and Cleo grew up together and we have been inseparable ever since " first day of school and you are already late" Cleo whispered to me "It wasn't my fault Victoria told me the wrong time" I said to Cleo and looked a the front of the class and couldn't find Mrs omar "well next time you can get yourself a watch so you sisters won't misinform about the time again" she said from behind me and Cleo "please Rex I won't tolerate talking in my class on the first day" the door suddenly opened and Will walked in "can I help you Will" mrs omar said looking at Will "hmm I was transferred to this class this morning" my mouth dropped as Will said that. I have always tried to be put in the same class as Will since freshman year but it never happened and now we are in the same class "At least I have three of the best students in the school in my class" There has always been an academical competition between me, will, Cleo and some girl named Ashley, never really met her. Will sat next to me and smiled at me before sitting down "Did Will just smile at you or me because it looked like he was smiling at you" Cleo said looking at me with a questioning and confused face "Maybe He is smiling at me Cleo" mrs omar said from the front of the class, before looking at Cleo. That woman's ears can hear a pin drop in a rainstorm. The class continued and from time to time I noticed Will staring at me and smiling, he then wrote a note and passed it to me, I opened the note "I was smiling at you" Will wrote on the note and I couldn't help but smile back at him, I turned and looked at Cleo who gave me *you are up to something face* I just smiled continued with the class until it was over
It was finally lunch time and and Will I had all the same classes and sat next to each other. I am currently in the cafeteria waiting for cleo, Jessica and max to arrive, i sat at our table and put on my headphones to listen to some music while I wait for them, when i noticed someone sat down close to me, i obviously thought it was one of my friends but i was actually Will "is it ok if i sit here" will said already sitting down " well u are already sitted so yeah its ok" he laughed moved closer to me that our shoulders are touching each other "sooooo do you have any plans after school" he asked looking at the celling like their was something he was looking for, up their "hmm yh my parents aren't at home so i have to stay with my sisters, but tomorrow i am free, why do you ask" i asked Will wondering why he want to Know if i am free "hmm i was thinking if me and you could go out on a date or something" my eyes widened, what does he mean my date does he know i am bisexual is he also gay or bisexual or is he just messing with me "what so you mean by date " i asked him trying to act normal "hmm like me and you go out to eat and have fun" he said smiling and looking at me, he seriously looks like a puppy dog "thats callled hanging out not a date" i said feeling a bit more reliefed and disappointed at the sane time " no not that, hanging out is for friends, i want us to go on a date because i like you" i think i am going to faint "like me like, like like me as in like me in a way that is romantic" i said looking at him like he killed someone "yeah like that, rex i have had a crush on you since like freshman year but you always ignored me whenever i tried to talk to you, so i thought you didn't like me too, but cleo told me that you might have a thing for me too so i didn't want to waste anymore time " what cleo knew i like Will, how, when, why, how, "so will you go on a date with me " will said suddenly using a puppy dog eye, he blue eyes started getting brighter and he looked just like a puppy dog "ok i will go on a date with you" Will shouted yes and carried me and spinned around before dropping me back, everyone at the cafeteria was looking at us "sorry i said and sat down back Will also sat down " i don't think i am ready to come out yet Will, i didn't even know that cleo knew about my sexuality " i said feeling people looking at us " i totally understand i also haven't come out to anyone, but cleo just knew that i wasn't straight" will said and suddenly cleo Jessica and max entered the cafeteria "did he say yes " cleo asked Will, and will nobbed and she screamed and Jessica and max gave her 10 dollars each "told you he would say yes" cleo said counting her money "i really thought he wont give in immediately" max said while hugging Jessica from behind. Max and Jessica have been dating for six months now "You guys put a bet on me accepting Will's date, how did you guys find out that I was bisexual" I have a lot of questions" ohh please you are talking to the best gaydar in the whole of America, we can sense a gay guy from a mile away, that and you were drunk during Greg's party and you told you that u liked will and you are bisexual" my mouth dropped, that party was a year ago, they knew about it over a year ago " enough of what we know, let us focus on what you are going to wear for your date, Jessica we are meeting at Rex's house tomorrow immediately after school, then max, you will go to Will house an help him get ready, does everyone understand" Cleo said sounding like a commander "yes!!!" We All said an laughed "is this how u guys behave every day" Will asked resting his head on my shoulder "you have no idea"
