Chapter 1

Lilian

"Lily! Hurry up the bus is here!" Mom yelled from down stairs.

"I'm coming!" I said as I grabbed my bad full of clothing and some necessities before hurrying down stairs.

Before climbing on the bus, mom planted so many kisses on my face. "Mom." I muffled.

"Alright. Now promise me you won't get into trouble." Mom crossed her arms.

I chuckled, "No promises." Mom looked at me sternly.

"Alright, alright. I'll try my best to het out of trouble." I hugged her. "I didn't want to go, though."

"None sense. Now go."

"See you in a couple of weeks." I waved at her as i climb on the bus.

As I was trying to find where I would sit, a girl called out to me. "Hey, you can sit here." She called.

I sat next to her. "Thank you." I say.

"My name's Alisha Heather. What's yours?" The girl asked.

"Liliane Riverwood." I say.

"You new?" She asked.

"Yeah, I am." As I said that, she gasped.

"A new comer. Tell me, did you wolf out, yet?" She asked.

"Did I what?" I asked confused. Then it was her turn to be confused.

She then leaned in and sniffed me. "Oh, you must be a late howle." She chuckled. "Don't worry, I'm also a late Luniar. We are going to be stuck together."

"I'm sorry, what?" I asked, I didn't understand what she was saying.

"Don't worry, you tend to be confused, that's why our parents send us to camp, to learn more about our species." She chuckled.

"I'm sorry, I'm quite confused. What camp are we headed to?" I asked a little bit confused and maybe a little anxious.

"Camp Lunaria. Best choice for werewolves." She answered.

What is going on? Camp Lunaria? Werewolves? Did my mom really enrolled me to a camp full of supposedly mythical werewolves?

I was probably not blinking since Alisha waved her hand in front of my face. "You okay?"

I shook my head trying to get out of the trance.

"Can I... Ask you a question?" I whispered.

"Of course." She replied with a smile.

"Are you... Possibly werewolves?" I asked, hoping this is all just a joke.

"Of course, why aren't you?" She looked at me like I was some sort of alien.

"I..." I started.

She's a wolf, and actual werewolf. Is everyone on this bus a werewolf?

My eyes started to wonder the bus, from the driver to the noisy teens at the back.

Alisha gasped. "You didn't know our species? You didn't know you are one of us?" She asked leaning in towards me.

"Maybe?" I say.

Alisha sniffed me again, "You smell like a human, but you smell like a wolf too. What is going on with you?"

"I don't know, I'm confused myself." I say, my tone a little panicked. Okay, a lot of panic.

"I get now, you're a half blood." She says. "Don't worry, it's completely normal, rare but normal."

"I'm trying so hard not to hyperventilate here, so can you please explain to me about everything?" I asked.

"Sure, this'll keep us from being bored throughout the road, anyway." She says as she shifted in her seat to face me. "Where do I start?"

"Half blood." I say.

"Alright, so, Half blooded children are born when the two parents are different in species." She explained. "While we're on this, I have to ask, who's the wolf between your parents?"

"I don't know, but it's probably my dad."

"Why do you say so?"

"My dad died weeks after I was born, or at least, that's what my mom told me."

"Did your wolf awakened, yet? Half blooded children's wolf tend to awaken much later on than full blooded children." She explained.

"I don't think so." I say.

"Can you wolf out yet. I mean, can you turn into a giant wolf?"

"No, I can't."

"Then your wolf is still hadn't woken. But don't worry, if your wolf is being stubborn, then there's a chance that it'll wake up when your mate is close."

"Wait, mate?"

"Yeap, the love of our lives." Alisha says dreamily.

"Have you found yours yet?" I asked.

"No, but I will. Hopefully."

"What do you mean?"

"You can find or feel your mate when you turned 18, I'm 17, and my birthday will be tomorrow. I just hope my mate bond is strong, so I can find my mate faster."

"Okay?" I said with a little confusion.

"How old are you?" She asked.

"I'm 18." I say and my eyes widened at the realization.

Alisha gasped, "You are ready to meet your mate!"

"Shh, quiet down. I'm not ready yet." I say in a whisper.

Alisha chuckled, "Don't be silly, everyone is ready and waiting for their destined mate."

"I guess not me." I mumbled.

"Hey, you'll be okay." She smiled, and I smiled back.

We then continued to talked about werewolf things like the Mate-Bond, the Mate's Mark, e.t. Oh and her wolf's name is Alice. She named her herself.

We didn't even realize that we had arrived at our destination until the driver exclaimed that we are.

Everyone on the bus started to pick their stuff and ran out the bus, me and Alisha followed.

When we got off the bus, we were suddenly welcomed by the forests sweet breeze.

Suddenly, a woman's voice echoed through a microphone, "Goodmorning, Campers!"

Then all the other campers, including Alisha replied, "Goodmorning, Luna Nyx!"

"Are you ready to spend the rest of your summer with us?!" Luna Nyx asked.

"Yes!" Everyone replied.

"Well, then. I hope you're ready because this is going to be the best summer you'll ever have. Now, here in Camp Lunaria, we don't just come here to find our mate, well, maybe some of you are." She says in a mocking suspicion tone and everyone chuckled.

"We are here to discover our strengths, weaknesses, our talents and even more. We have games and educational programs that might interest you, so don't be shy to sign up. And this year you get to choose your own roommate. Boys and girls are seperated, And if you came here with your mate, then it's not my problem. Just kidding, you guys can be roommates with your mates, just don't be intimate about it, just saying." Everyone chuckled.

After the Luna finished greeting us, we were now allowed to find ourselves a camp house.

Alisha and I settled in a camp house that was near the lake. When we got inside the house was clean and neat, there was one bunk bed and Alisha exclaimed, "I call top bunk."

I chuckled, "don't worry, I don't like high places, anyway."

"Alright, if you say so." She shrugged.

We spent the rest of the day preparing our camp house to our convenience, but resting our eyes for the activities we could do tomorrow.

When I opened my eyes, I saw a wolf with silver fur and sky blue eyes staring down at me.
