Chapter 1
Jack had heard tell of the stunning Emma before. He had seen her around town, but never had the courage to approach her. However, now was the chance he had always wanted. Emma had suddenly appeared at Jack's workplace, buying food items from the supermarket next to his office. He seized the opportunity to strike up a conversation with her, trying to hide his nervousness.
"Morning, Emma. I hope you don't mind me saying, but you look absolutely beautiful today," Jack said, trying to keep the conversation light.
Emma smiled at him, a warm and welcoming smile. "Thank you, Jack. That means a lot coming from you," she said, and Jack felt a flutter in his chest.
From there, the two started talking about various things. Jack quickly discovered that Emma was not only beautiful but also incredibly intelligent and well-read. He was captivated by her wit and charm, and before long, he realized that he had fallen completely in love with her.
As the two talked, Jack also found himself opening up about his past relationships and the heartbreaks he had endured. Emma listened to him without judgment, and Jack felt a sense of comfort and understanding. He knew that he had found someone special in her.
