Chapter 1
Walking away from the place i once called home
Emptiness enveloped me,i never thought my father valued his reputation more than his flesh and blood
He disowned me and forgotten about my existence
Months went by after he disowned me, I lived happily with my mother. Coming back from work my house seem empty and silent like a huntered house in a ghost movie
I opened the door wondering where my mother has disappeared to
I searched the house then found my mother's body lying on the cold kitchen floor not in motion but respiring
Liquid moved down my cheeks has i scanned her body on the cold floor
I immediately rushed her to the hospital fear of losing her grabbed me which caused me to shiver
I was informed by the doctor that my mother needed an immediate heart transplant of 1million dollar fear shook me very much has i do not have that amount to save my mother
The thought of asking my father for help imaged in my mind i took my phone and dialed his phone number but he didn't answer
My mother's lifeless face on the hospital bed caused tears to flow done my face,she is all i have left and I'm not ready to loose her
I cried myself to sleep beside my mother,i woke up the next morning with swollen and tired eyes
I departed to my house then took a bath, slide into a blue blouse with a black pair of sandals
I combed my hair in a ponytail. I've decided to see my father , he is the only one who can help me
I rode a taxi to his mansion were he lives
RICHARD'S POV
How could he do such a thing he knows very well my hate towards female. But yet still he dare threaten me.flames of anger burned on his eyes has his blood boiled with rage of hatred
The door opened and a fair white skinned lady walked in
"What did you and father talk about yesternight",she asked with innocence in her voice
"He threatenings to take away my position as the CEO of night dust if i don't bring home a wife within a week",he coldly answered
"Serves you right, if you weren't so cold hearted towards your opposite sex you would be married by now and on top of that you aren't getting any younger dear brother",she replied teasingly
"But don't worry your baby sister is going to find you a wife",She added
An evil laugh escaped his carved lips,
"i rather stay single forever", He answered
"Brother i don't want to be the CEO nor do i want to be the president of night dust brother please do it for your baby sister".
she kneeled down beside her brother who was sitting in a chair
"Stop being dramatic, i will do as you want".
She jumped up in excitement and hugged her brother
"I promise i would find you a great wife"
He stared at her and shook his head.
"Brother, I need a favour from you"
"Let me guess you want my expensive car and my black card, no way".
"Come on, you know Father froze my account and i can't go shopping, okay i promise you, this will be the last time i request for them",She begged
"You are making me look like a bad brother, okay you can have them",he agreed and gave her the key to his car and his black card
"take it spoilt brat".he said as he gave her the items
"Thank you stone hearted.she took the key and the black card then left.
