Prologue

Thousands of floating lights lit up the ceiling as the hall sat down to commemorate the first day of a new year.

Stories about summer and new friendships were shared around the table. A calm relief and a moment of forgetfulness were present despite the war that threatened their lives beyond the safe confines of this castle.

Over at the table of brave lions were the self–proclaimed Golden Trio: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley.

The trio were in the middle of a deep discussion about how they should try and deal with their arch nemesis Draco Malfoy; a Pure–Blooded git from Slytherin. This would be attempt number one thousand, eight hundred and sixty.

Sitting next to them was Neville Longbottom who was busy reading a book about magical plants and their uses – he did love Herbology – pretending that he wasn’t listening to their conversation. He didn’t plan on getting blamed for yet another mishap. At least, not yet – the year just started.

Far across the table, the Weasley twins, Fred, and George – otherwise known as the Devils of Gryffindor were talking to their best friend Lee, about yet another prank. They did have to outdo the Marauders, their idols, and funny enough professors. Lee was trying to convince his best friends that the Marauders didn’t care about who did the most pranks – their idols already stated that they were the newest generation of pranksters; while the twins were mock–glaring at the man they thought understood them the most.

Over at the table of cunning and ambitious snakes, a group known as the Prince and seconds of Slytherin sat; their faces barely showing any emotion – unless you peered into their eyes, then you could see their hatred that seemed directed at one person only and that was Albus – too many fucking names – Dumbledore.

“I’m going to marry him girls, we are gonna fall in love and make loads of little ones,” said Ginny who was staring at Harry.

“Yeah, and I’m going to Azkaban,” replied Luna next to her, her pale blonde hair catching in the lightening of the room.

“Luna you are supposed to encourage me!”

“Luna be nice to Ginny. Gin, stop being stupid,” said Neville who still had his face in a book.

“Yeah, listen to Nev–” Ginny frowned upon realising she had been insulted. “Hey!”

Luna laughed whilst Neville looked up from his book and just smiled at his friend, “whatever helps you sleep at night Ginny.”

She was about to comment when her brother looked over at her and shook his head unamused. “Get your eyes off of my friend sissy. Merlin, you are as bad as the twins when they first learnt that Harry’s father was Prongs.”

Ginny was about to retort when suddenly their feast is interrupted however by a clang of the knob and creak resonated the hall as the doors of the Great Hall opened to reveal guests.

The Ancient and Noble houses that governed over their society’s house of representatives strode in with calm and cold disdain despite the underlying current of confusion. The Ministry of Magic entered with the man who is the face of their community, the Minister of Magic – Kingsley Shacklebolt – along with seasoned Aurors following after him. The other families, that of the Tonks with their daughter, and the Weasleys with their two eldest children were behind them.

“What have you boys done now,” asked Mrs Weasley storming over to the group of boys.

“Nothing we haven’t done anything this time mum,” replied Fred getting up from his seat to hug his parents.

Dumbledore stood up and asked warily, “hello, what brings you here?”

“We all got a letter Albus saying to go to Hogwarts,” replied Alastor. After the Auror had said that a letter had fallen from out of nowhere and landed in front of Dumbledore, he quickly read the letter then cleared his throat to read it to everyone.

To the Headmaster, Students, Parents and Ministry Officers,

Please forgive us for the frights we without a doubt caused. It’s not every day you find yourselves with the knowledge of future events – unless you’re a seer. Us – those from the future – thought you would like the chance to truly get to know one another as well as gain the opportunity to change the future for the better – if you so wish it.

We found a spell that allows you all to know a bit about the future and how to defeat the newest threat to both the magical and muggle world – Thanos. Before you Pure–Bloods start to bemoan about Muggles not concerning you, Thanos plans to eliminate half of the World’s population and trust me he isn’t going to biased against who has magical blood or not.

It is also consequential that no action is taken until ALL of the movies are watched. I trust you, Minister, to keep people calm and offensive spells to a minimum. Also, James, Lily and Harry Potter, these movies may confuse you and make you all – everyone in the room – that people are not as they seem. I am afraid to say that you are not the only Potters left.

James Potter looked frozen. He had another family member?

Sirius, Remus, Harry, and Lily all looked at him, re–enacting a deer caught in headlights.

Good luck and remember to do nothing about what you learn – from the movies – until you finish.

Sincerely,

Stephen Strange Sorcerer Supreme

The letter was quietly swallowed up by a cracking sound similar to that of apparitions made after a long trip. There was also a bright, orange glow; everyone in the hall had to cover their faces in the fear of hurting their eyes, when they opened them again, they couldn’t help but look at the people standing there.

They were shocked because apparitions within the halls of the school – without permission from either the headmaster or Hogwarts itself – was thought to be impossible. Eight people stood there tall and confidently looking at the people of the past like it was an everyday thing.

In front of the group stood a tall man with dark locks that curled on his forehead. He was wearing a long red cloak – one that kind of reminded Muggleborns and Half–Bloods of Little Red Riding Hood – with a large green gem sitting in the middle of an eye–shaped locket.

“Hello, I am Doctor Stephen Strange, and I am the one who sent you that letter. I brought you here because it seems that lies run deep, lies that are dangerous enough to ruin the wonderful magical world of Britian.” He spoke, his voice deep and full of authority.

He waved a hand behind him, “These are members of a group of heroes called ‘The Avengers’ and you are all gathered here to watch the movies to do with their lives. Hopefully, you may be able to come together and work as a team to protect Earth from the Crazed Titan named Thanos.”

The first man stepped forward; he was dressed in blue, white, and red suit with a large shield coloured the same as his outfit sat on his back. “I am Steve Rogers, otherwise known as Captain America.”

A second man stepped forward and waved with a smirk on his face that’s spelt egotistical. He took off his sunnies and leant to the side – if he were a girl, you could say he was posing, “Tony Stark, genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, known as Iron Man.”

The third to come forward was yet again a male. This one however was dressed in purple and black, with a bow and arrows strapped to his side. He was pretty muscular as well, making many souls in the hall swoon. “I am Clint Barton or Hawkeye, whichever you prefer.”

A woman with blonde and red hair stepped forward. She had the typical Pure–Blood look to her, aristocrat cheeks and jawline, with the prettiest blue eyes that seemed to drag you in if you starred for too long. She stepped – well stepped isn’t the right word... she glided – forward and spoke in a heavy Russian accent, “I am Natasha Romanoff. The Black Widow.”

A nervous man who looked like a muggle doctor stepped up, fidgeting with his glasses. “Bruce Banner – the Hulk.”

Remus got a sense that the man was different. Something like a sense of kinship emitted from him.

A tall man with blonde hair – not that much different to Lucius Malfoy’s – and red and gold armour stepped forward. The women and some men in the hall couldn’t stop starring at his muscles as his arms flexed here and there. “I am Thor, son of Odin, the God of Thunder.”

He was cuffed up the back of the head by a man with a black hair and deep green eyes – if Harry was older and had lost his glasses, he could almost say they were twins. “Inside voice you colossal oaf. I am Loki, son of Frigga – the God of Lies and Mischief.”

Of course, his introduction got the attentions of the Weasley twins and the Marauders, who visibly perked up, staring at him with suppressed awe and zeal. This didn’t go unnoticed by him and in return he gave them all a wink before turning to face the last one to introduce herself.

Everyone turned to look at the last member with confusion and anticipation. The woman had blood–red hair that flowed and pooled down her back, and the greenest eyes you’d ever seen. If you didn’t know any better, you’d swear that someone had replaced her irises with actual gems.

“She looks just like your mother, Harry.” Ron commented.

Hermione shook her head, “You can see that she is like his father.”

“I am Raisa Potter, also known as Enchantress.” She looked around and glared at the Gandulf–Wanna–Be, before her eyes caught those of one Harry Potter and her glare softened into a smile, whereas she literally blushed – to the shock of the Avengers because there are three women who don’t blush in the world, and they are Natasha Romanoff, Maria Hill, and Raisa Potter – when her gaze landed on Sirius Black who hadn’t aged since his Godson was born.

“Potter?” James asked, his eyes wide in confusion.

The woman – Raisa – nodded and turned to look at Stephen Strange who tilted his head in confirmation. She sighed because of course the man had been too greedy to accept the truth and had to make himself out to the Saviour, the one who saved the day.

Stephen coughed, gaining everyone’s attention. “Like I said in the letter, not everything is as it seems, nor are people as they portray themselves to be.” He waved his hands around and several DVDs fell onto the Professors’ table, where Lily and James Potter, Minerva McGonagall, Severus Snape, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Pomona Spout, Poppy Pomfrey, Charity Burbage, Rubeus Hagrid, Aurora Sinistra, Filius Flitwick and of course Albus Dumbledore sat.

“Watch these movies, and good luck.” With those words spoken, and a complex wave of his hands, the orange glow returned – but this time not as harsh so many could watch – and he departed through a portal made from the orange rings.

Dumbledore cleared his throat and stared at the guest. “Well since you introduced yourselves, we may as well do the same.”

He pointed to the table that was full of red and golden robes and tablecloths, whose colours made Thor grin like an idiot. “These are our brave and chivalry members of Gryffindor, and their Head of House is Minerva McGonagall who is also the Transfiguration Professor.”

Next, he pointed to a table that was full of yellow and black decoration, “Those of the House of Hufflepuffs, hard workers and loyal, and their proud Head of House is Pomona Sprout who is the Herbology Professor.”

The third table was blue and bronze, “These are the Ravenclaws known for their intelligence and wit, and their Head of House is our very own Charms Professor Filius Flitwick.”

The last table was green and silver, colours that made both Raisa and Loki beam. “The house of the Cunning and Ambitious, Slytherins and their Head of House; our Potion Master and Professor Severus Snape.”

Each Professor stood up as the Headmaster introduces the houses; and that left several unintroduced which Dumbledore was quick to fix. “The following Professors are – our Medi–witch and healer, Pomfrey, Trelawney, our Divination Professor isn’t here right now sadly, our Astronomy Professor Sinistra, Professor Potter who is our Ancient Runes teacher,” with that Poppy, Aurora and James all stood up and bowed.

“Professor Potter is our Arithmancy teacher, Professor Burbage teaches Muggle Studies while Professor is in charge of History of Magic and Professor Black is our Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher.”

Everyone watched as Lily, Remus, Charity, and Sirius stood up and bowed, copying the moves of their colleagues. Raisa however couldn’t help but snort at the title of Black’s class. Like seriously Defence against the Dark Arts? She shook her head at the pathetic–ness of Dumbledore. She could easily have killed someone using either ‘Wingardium Leviosa’ or even ‘Diffindo’ two Light charms.

Since appearing in the room, Sirius Orion Black hadn’t been able to take his eyes off of the red–head, in fear that she would disappear once again. Unlike those in the room who had been summoned to Hogwarts the night the Dark Lord had been vanquished, The compulsions didn’t take, and he knew the truth. Their self–appointed hero wasn’t the one who defeated the Dark Lord, Merlin no, it was the lady, Raisa Potter.

He was the only one, Remus was in the same boat as him, along with his brother Regulus.
