What is your opinion?

Twisted Words

"How I read this is just my view. The first chapter was decent. Understandable. The second chapter: I Am the Darkness. It tells more. When you're in the dark, you've no idea what to do or go, you cannot see. You're left with three choices: 1. you can stay and drowned in the dark or 2. You can try and go where you think is forward. 3. You can stay in your mind and hope it distracts you, it makes you forget that empty alone feeling you've been left with, even if it's temporary. Just a small break. Chapter three is uncomfortably understandable, once again. A small fact of the sky-- Everything's alone. The moon stands alone between the stars taking up space. The stars may be near others, but they will never meet the sun. The sun it to shine bright on its own, alone. Chapter Four: Walking This Line. The line is like trying to get better, yet it just continues, in the dark. Then being fine with it. Then to the point you're sick of it staying the same. Chapter Five: When I Close My Eyes. A reality when your eyes are closed, an escape- Until your eyes open again and you're back in the dark by yourself. Chapter Six: Drowning. Numb. Drowning, stuck. Unable to move nor feel. Chapter Seven: The Ocean Is My Mind. The ocean is its own pace yet it's a fantasy others want. Life moves too quick, you drown or barley get through, some get the part where you easy swim through. Chapter Eight: Rain. Explains, 'nough said in the chapter. Chapter Nine: War. Be careful what you say, whoever might hear may use it out of context and you'll be alone in the dark once more. Chapter Ten: Poison. Staying up numb, euphoria. "It's not forever" You think. A never-ending cycle until it stops, forever numb. Chapter Eleven: A Drink Or Two. Lesson-Don't drink and drive. A new view. Chapter Twelve: You're Your Only Friend. Trusting another is being vulnerable. There's always a risk. Or you could be on your own, protected. Chapter Thirteen: Drunk And Alone. Used. In the dark. Alone. Chapter Fourteen: Freedom. Free, happy, alone. Chapter Fifteen: Don't Get Too Comfortable. Don't get comfortable. Expect it. Don't wait for the carpet to get pulled from under your foot. Prepare for it, it can always happen. Chapter Sixteen: Success. Don't overwork until you physically cannot anymore. Appreciate it all. Every bit. Overall, the book was good, the metaphors were understandable. It was easy to read the Authors view and your own. Another favourite. Note to Author- I hope you're okay. "
