Pulled in on the first chapter
"The first chapter made my jaw drop. The title of the first chapter literally made feel betrayal and pain for Rosalynd! The story focuses on Rosalynd and Axel in the first couple of chapters. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the two characters. They are obviously going through a lot of trauma especially in their past relationship. The story was easy to follow and I really enjoyed that as a reader. My only critique which is more of a preference than anything, is wanting to see more of Axel's past relationship with Alexa and dialogue. I really felt for Rosalynd and the issues she had with Hunter but not as much for Axel. But overall, amazing job! I'm excited to see what happens next with Rosalynd and Axel. "
Compelling Read
"The beginning started with a bang and continued on. The main character seems to be down on herself and I think it definitely has something to do with the drama queen running her life. Watching her break free and trying to find her own way is wonderful. I think one of the best and worst things to write about is people struggles as it can be a hit or miss but this author finds a way to make it engaging without feeling like it's dragging on. Can't wait to continue reading this book."
