Chapter 1 A visit to the Joke Shop
The bell tinkled merrily as Harry pushed open the door to the joke shop and Ron, Hermione and Ginny traipsed through the door behind him.
It was the first Hogsmeade weekend of the year and the shop was bustling with students.Hermione examined the products in the aisles with a frown, grudgingly impressed.
“This is extraordinary magic," she murmured.
Hermione felt a nudge as Fred and George slid in beside her.
“Thanks Hermione, for that you can have something from our new product range, on us!" George exclaimed with a wink.
Hermione's eyebrows shot so high that they disappeared into her hairline. "Erm -”
“Oh not that product line," George said hastily, while giving Fred a shove. Fred hurriedly slipped a box back into his coat. "I meant our new dream line."
“What happened to the old daydream product line," asked Ginny, "I thought they were really popular?"
“Well yes they were," answered Fred, "a little too popular. And then there were those teensy legal issues.
Hermione raised a stern eyebrow.
“But if the Professor Rockhard daydreams had any resemblance to a certain previous defence against the dark arts professor, it was completely unintentional."
“If you have any left over I'm sure that Hermione could take them off your hands." Ginny smirked.
“In any case, we've um had to stop producing those ones. And the Tom Diddle range." George added.
“Tom Diddle?" Hermione asked sounding simultaneously aggravated and incredulous.
George leaned in, "well you'd be surprised by the demand."Fred leaned closer, "as it happens there is a strong market for the, shall we say, forbidden."
“It seems that women love a bad boy, or, bad boys." George added.
Hermione took a step back, flustered as two pairs of hazel eyes twinkled at her. "Your new line?" Hermione stammered, keen to change the subject.
Fred grinned, "well this line allows the customer to live out their deepest, darkest desires in a very realistic dream. It is based on your personal desires."
George reached forward slipping a packet of dream chews into her palm. His hand lingered on hers for a moment as his mouth stretched into a wicked grin. "Here's some on us, just don't forget to tell us how you find them."
“You can floo us directly at our apartment with your feedback.""
“Can I have some too?" Ron burst out, breaking the moment.
“Sure. That will be 5 galleons." The twins replied.
“But I’m your brother” Ron exclaimed.
“Ten galleons then” the twins grinned.
