Lee had just woken up from a terrible nightmare sobbing, with the blanket covering her from the waist down as she sat upright in bed with the haunting thought that this nightmare was once a reality. She slipped on her housecoat and creeped down the dark hallway to fix herself breakfast.
It was roughly around 5 in the morning, just as Lee was about to sit, a window-shattering scream echoed through the city followed by a thundering crash. She scurried down the stairs to her boutique and out the door to the sidewalk where the lights from other apartments flooded the streets. Lee, the designer, tip-toed to the road where she found fresh tire marks.The neighborhood was being questioned by the police as the sunrise faded into day and the smell of fresh pastries filled the air. Her day carried on as normal, sewing dresses, helping customers, collecting mail.
