Exposition
Exposition
Ever since we were children, we consumed over and over again lessons that would be taught to us by adults about their mistakes. They might have been smaller lessons, like what is right and what wrong, such as : being angry is okay, but hitting your peers because you’re angry is not. Other lessons were much bigger and more horrifying, like the holocaust, or colonization.
We would see pictures, movies and even be tested about it in school. With that being said, the same bullshit adults taught us not to do throughout history keeps happening, no matter how much technology and we as a society progress! Genosides are still happening, rape culture is still kicking and people are inflaming other people’s disorders just by being plane mean (Yes I’m talking about you lifeless bozos who just sit at home all day and attack people on platforms like Twitter or Reddit).
That bizarre pattern always made me wonder: If we are so aware of all of the important issues in the world, and I am more than positive that if enough countries get together we DO HAVE the resources to solve said problems as well, why the hell do we, as a progressive and enlightened society experience the same problems we encountered 400 years ago, 100 years ago,60 years ago and so on.
That, my friends, leads me to the first chapter of this book.
