March Prologue
We have come to March and spring has arrived. Everyone gets their fair share of spring fever. It’s the excitement of knowing that you went through the brutal winter season and the sun is shining up. It’s also the start of being festive as everyone prepares for a much needed break in the spring. But breaks don’t come easy for everyone, especially rodeo athletes. While everyone plans to go to the beach, these brave souls travel across the country to their next destination for their event. And among the places they travel to is the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the biggest rode event in the world.
For a group of traveling buddies, they find themselves set to compete in this event hoping to make a name for themselves in one of America’s largest cities where the prize is fifty-grand. Yet, for two of these buddies, fifty-grand is meaningless compared to one moment that will defy their time in Houston in more ways than one. As they will learn, money can never buy you love.
March: Brian Matthews & Naomi Durango
Brian and Naomi are friends that are both on rodeo superstars. Brian is currently among the top bull riders in the world while Naomi is among the top barrel racers in the world. They are also two very competitive who try to beat each other in almost everything they can. In spite of their competitiveness, they always blend well together as two friends with big dreams.
But when Brian suffers from an accident in a bull riding event, Naomi is suddenly fearful and worried that she would lose the one person in her life that she truly cares about. With a major rodeo event coming up, Naomi looks to focus on winning her event while Brian hopes for redemption on his event, but also finds the courage to tell Naomi how much he truly is afraid of losing her more than losing on a bull ride.
