"5/5 It’s hard to find an author that can transport you into the story with the level of detail they add or an author that can make their characters complex like this author did. This author is the real deal. It’s the little scenes like a character missing a turn on a trip or a snippet of a character helping a neighbor out that pulls you head-first into a story. The story isn’t rushed, the scenes aren’t forced or created just to meet a plot, the characters are alive and connected. I loved this story. I could NOT put it down. Highly recommend this story for those that want to get sucked into a story about the bonds between friends and finding new pathways after those bonds change."
