December Prologue
At long last, we have reached the end of the year. It is December, which is time for you to reflect on the season that you just had. There have been some great moments for you this year, but also some tough moments. Still, you look back and are so grateful that you had these moments happen for you.
Now comes the holiday season. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, or any other month, there is a feeling of festivities and excitement especially being around loved ones from December all the way to the new year. Lighting the menorah, singing Christmas Carols, exchanging gifts, and enjoying the snow (if y’all have snow), the holiday season is one that everyone looks forward to and prepare for next year.
But what of those who struggle to be in a Christmas mood because they haven’t had the best year or because of a tragic event that happened? Our final story involves a tragic situation for one person while trying to find the Christmas magic that had been taken away from them. It would be up to the family, particularly a special friend, to help rescue this person and also cure a broken heart and more.
December: Henry Christian and Wade Kennard (The Best Christmas)
Wade and Henry might be two different people, but they grown up knowing each other since their childhood days. Henry is a socialite living amongst the richest family in her neighborhood, but has a kind heart for goodness along with her family members. But the pressures of being a socialite get to her as this Christmas, she has encounters with potential suitors wanting her hand in marriage as well. Yet, she only has sights on one person.
Wade is a shy, autistic hockey player, who tries not to embarrass himself in front of every social gathering, including Christmas parties hosted by Henry’s family. But when tragedy strikes Wade’s world, he finds himself feeling alone on Christmas for the first time ever. Seeing a broken down person, Henry and her family vow to take him in and give him a Christmas to remember.
