What a friend can do

In the shadowed realm where darkness lay,

A child bore burdens in shades of gray.

Beneath the weight of a silent despair,

A lonely heart sought someone to care.

Through tear-streaked nights and heavy sighs,

She gazed at stars through misty eyes.

Yet fate had plans, a twist in the plot,

A friend-to-be, a light she sought.

Amidst the gloom, a connection was made,

A friend appeared, not a mere charade.

A gentle spirit with a caring smile,

Unseen sorrows they would reconcile.

The friend brought laughter, a radiant glow,

Turning stormy seas to a tranquil flow.

In shared whispers and laughter's embrace,

The echoes of joy began to replace.

Through the valleys of sadness, they'd roam,

Creating a haven, a place called home.

With every shared secret and tale untold,

New chapters of happiness gently unfold.

A bond that mends the broken wing,

A melody of friendship, a song to sing.

Together they danced in the sunlight's embrace,

Chasing away shadows, leaving no trace.

The child transformed, like a bloom in spring,

From desolate echoes to voices that sing.

Through the prism of friendship, colors anew,

A kaleidoscope of joy, a vibrant view.

In the tapestry of life, a friendship sewn,

A remedy for a heart that had once known

Only the echoes of a somber refrain,

Now replaced with melodies of joy, not pain.
