Jennie lay on the bed as she talked on the phone with her best friend Maria, who was out with her boyfriend.

Jennie said: it just feels like hell without you here.

Maria chuckled from the other end as she said: don't worry I will buy your favorite chocolate when I come back.

Jennie smirked: God knows when you will be back! You left for weeks now.

Maria said: I will be back this weekend I promise

She then hung up stood up and went to the kitchen to prepare something.

She had been starving for hours now, but she was too lazy to cook.

She thought of taking a stroll, cause she had an off day today in the office, and she has to take care of herself.

She went to the mart not far from her apartment to get some groceries and other stuff she needed at home.

She then saw her favorite chocolate as she was about to grab it, she heard a little girl cry: please let me have it?

Jennie didn't know how to react to this, she looked at the chocolates turned out to be just one left

She smiled as she handed the chocolate to her

Jennie said: hey, don't cry wipe your tears now! You can have the chocolate, turned out we love the same chocolates!

The little girl said: thank you.

Just then a deep voice said: Emily, here you are. I was already going crazy.

Emily rushed over to her daddy

That is Jacob Wayland, the richest man in the city

She pointed toward Jennie who was standing there staring at them.

She went to shower again as she lay on her bed and pressed her phone for a while, and she finally fell asleep.

The next day she went to work after closing she went to the ice cream shop.

She had a long day and wanted something sweet.

She sat down on the seat and waited for her ice cream, her ice cream finally came.

She smiled as she began to have her ice cream, and just then she heard the same little girl's voice from yesterday.

: Aunty Cameron I want the strawberry ice cream, not the chocolate.

Jennie couldn’t help but turn around as she smiled and continued taking her ice cream.

Then she head another voice :your daddy is waiting on the car, let’s go now Emily.

He dropped her on the chair as he said: now have your ice cream, Cameron is Jacob's younger sister, she was already beside them as she placed the ice cream on the table.

Jennie got to her apartment as she lay on her couch.

Just then her phone rang it was Maria her best friend.

She picked up quickly as she said: hey

Maria said: I will be back on Saturday, I'm so happy.

Jennie said: Good, umm, I need to go now, I'm so stressed out

She then ended the call

Jennie walked out of the room again as she went to have her breakfast it was almost noon

She then went to check on Emily

And she was still sleeping

She then walked away

Soon after she got to get to her apartment

She went to her room and arranged her luggage, just then she heard Maria's voice

Maria said: I thought you said I should call you when I got to the apartment, then I saw the door open, Jennie I missed you so much, now that you are going to take care of that man's daughter. Huh

Jennie said: that man is so rude babes, he talks anyhow, and you know me
