Chapter 1
Everything according to Jungkook was like something from a dream, and therefore it was unreal and untrue. No wonder he had great difficulty digesting what he was told. And it wasn't as easy as it seemed to others, because as we all know, unfortunately they weren't him. All the more so because he still had to endure the horror that his torturers had inflicted on him and he was no longer one hundred percent sure whether he had managed to escape and return to his real home. But was he still stuck with those he had wanted to escape from for a very long time? Which caused big problems, of which, as we know, he was not the culprit. No wonder Jungkook still couldn't get used to all these changes. In his miserable - as he thought until now - life, which was only a nightmare for him.
Because of this, he still felt uncomfortable and had the impression that it would be better if he didn't exist. He had the impression that he was invisible and he couldn't change it, no matter how much he wanted to change it. Therefore, the only person he could rely on was his vampire butler named Taehyung. Only thanks to him, it didn't fall apart into a billion pieces until the very end. Thanks to him, he realized that he didn't really have to be afraid of anything anymore. As it happened until recently and even Jimin wasn't able to help him in this respect. Although he still couldn't believe that creatures like vampires existed and thrived in this day and age.
Hence, it is no wonder that he was quite shocked when he learned that Jimin's friend - who was also a Vampire Hunter - was also a vampire. As we all know, he wouldn't expect anything in the world, he was one hundred percent sure. And now he was finishing up his eighteenth birthday party. A party that was thrown for him by his real grandmother, who was the Head of the Jeon House. Even though he knew he was safe, he still couldn't shake the feeling that something could happen at any moment and everything would burst like a soap bubble.
He was currently slowly heading towards where Rose, Jimin and Taehyung were. When out of nowhere Jimin started acting strangely, which was a bit suspicious. Not to mention Rose herself, who had the look of someone who had just done something wrong and been caught red-handed. What Jungkook didn't understand very much, but no matter how you look at it, he wasn't there from the very beginning of this strange conversation. So it was very understandable that he didn't understand anything about it. He jumped up and down in surprise when, out of nowhere, his friend started yelling at Rose. And Taehyung started to look like he was about to explode or faint and dissolve. Which completely confused Jungkook and he became more and more confused by the moment.
“Fuck his mother! Rose, what the hell did you give Taehyung?,” Jimin shouted after a while, just after Taehyung suddenly fell to the floor.
Although there was no indication that something like this would happen before. Especially since Taehyung, just like Rose herself, was a vampire, so normal things didn't work on him. Apart from silver bullets, an aspen stake and holy water, as well as a cross. Although Jungkook couldn't be 100% sure of this either, because he had no intention of testing it on whether it was true. That's why he, just like Jimin himself, had no idea what Rose had given Taehyung. And until they had the faintest idea what had happened to him, there was no way they could do anything further. Therefore, before Jimin said anything else. He also decided to ask her to get something more out of her. However, from the mischievous expression she was currently wearing, he slowly began to suspect that this could be something much worse than he and Jimin were currently thinking.
“Jimin is right about that. Rose, what the hell did you give Taehyung?,” repeated Jimin's question after a while, Jungkook himself having no intention of beating around the bush.
And you could hear real nervousness in his tone of voice. Which, as we know, was understandable, after what he had just seen. This was the first time Jungkook had encountered something like this that he didn't even notice that he had entered the conversation uninvited. Especially since he didn't even let them know that he had approached them, but just as if he had never said anything. No wonder they both flinched a bit at the sound of his words. They were obviously so focused on themselves and Taehyung that they forgot about his existence. Not to mention that if Rose hadn't done something wrong, he wouldn't be losing his mind right now and waiting to see what would happen next. Yet today was his eighteenth birthday and for maybe about a year he had been living in the Mansion of his real grandmother, who was the Head of the Jeon House.
He still couldn't get used to all this luxury and everything. That's why he needed Taehyung with him so much, because if he wasn't there, he probably wouldn't be here now. He sighed quietly, finally looking with murder in his eyes at Rose, who handed something to Taehyung, but at all costs she did not want to tell them what, she just smiled stupidly and pretended to be innocent. Neither Jungkook nor Jimin liked it, they knew they wouldn't do anything about it. However, it was only after a while that they realized that he had appeared. No wonder they reacted this way to his sudden appearance.
“Mother, Jungkook! Will I ever have a heart attack because of you?!,” Jimin hissed after a while, clutching his heart.
Jungkook just tilted his head like those prairie dogs when she heard Jimin's answer.
“It's not my fault that you were so engrossed in conversation that you didn't notice me!,” Jungkook replied with amusement, trying to turn what happened into a joke.
Jimin was not at all happy that his friend approached them like an assassin, without saying a word at the time.
“It depends on who…,” Jimin didn't finish his statement because Rose interrupted him.
Rose listened to the exchange between Jungkook and Jimin for a moment. Before she decided to remind not only of her existence, but also of Taehyung's current state.
“If I were you, you'd better cuff Taehyung before what I gave him takes effect. Because then it might not be very interesting, although it depends on who…,” interrupting Jimin, Rose sensing what will happen soon.
It took Jungkook and Jimin a moment to realize what Rose had just said. Rose, whose existence they completely forgot for a moment, and that was not a good move.
“WHAT?!,” Jungkook and Jimin said synchronously at the same moment, right after they heard the words spoken by Rose, which they couldn't understand at all.
