Chapter 1
I ran out from my moms house with tears going down my face, I was crying historically. It wasn’t the first time she hit me, but after 3 years with no contact I thought it would be different, I thought she would respect me and love me. No one in this universe did except my perfect best friend Amelia. “I don’t want to see you here until you respect me and love me Rose, none of you kids love me only my husband” my mom yelled from the door. She always said that to make me feel bad but not this time I won’t let her push me down anymore I was done with her. “Then I guess you won’t see me anymore ever again” I yelled back.
I turned my head back for a second *BAAAM* I bumped in to someone, it was like I ran in to a wall. We both fell down with a thud, “look were your going” a low voice said angrily. I slowly opened my eyes “I-I’m so sorry I-I didn’t see you I’m tryi..” he stoped me with a “I don’t care, don’t let this happen again” I looked at him still with tears going down my cheeks. I was soaked with tears.
The dark brown hair got a glow in the sun, his ocean blue eyes made me feel lost like I was trying to get somewhere but it was impossible, his lips looked so kissable. “Can you get off now” he said “yes, yes sorry” I said quickly getting up, as he slowly stood up him self “damn” I whispered. Looking at him head to toe, the black outfit he is wearing made his arm muscles pop out a bit. “Excuse me” he said more angrily this time “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to” I said nervously, I looked down, I was going to look at the ground but I accidentally stoped at something else, I don’t know why I did this ughh why does my eyes always stop at that, but this time… wow I could see a bit thru the pants. The pants weren’t tight or anything, and I still saw it thru, damn. “S-sorry sir, but I need to go” I said in a shaking voice.
I saw my step dad running towards me w a bat, my heart almost stoped. Once again I looked back and started panicking more and more “are you okay?” His voice softened a bit as he saw my bruises, he looked worried but I didn’t care “mind your own business” I responded angrily and started running again. He looked at me like I was crazy but it didn’t matter I needed to get away.
After a few miles I stopped looking back, I lost him finally. I could finally go back to my apartment, with not stress anymore just thinking about how I could get my life together, I needed to get my life together I can’t just sit home and watch movies or drink with Amelia when I wasn’t at work.
I was about to call Amelia when I got another phone call, it was from my boss. “Hi Rose, I need you here tomorrow by 7 am” she said “Hi Amy, yes I’ll be there” I answered, the she hung up. My boss has been a bitch since I remember, it wasn’t fair that I worked my ass off and got hate in return. What have I done, what have we done, why is she so bitchy to all of us ugh I hate her but I needed this job *ring ring, ring ring* “Hiii” I said excited “OMG Hiiiiii. What are you up to” Amelia said with a lot of excitement “Nooothing, was just about to call you. What about you” I responded “Nothing much, wanna go out tonight” she said, I could see her smile in front of me while saying that “Hahaha I was about to ask you that, where are we heading?” I asked “Uhhmmm, maybe.. Hell to heavens?” She asked hesitant “OOMGGG I forgot that it existed, we need to go there” I said with a pitched voice “Okay meet me there in 30 mins” she said, I heard the excitement in her voice again.
I met her outside the bar “leeets goooo” she said in a pitched voice jumping up and down, and we went in, it was exactly how I remembered, the lights were bright red not to bright tho, the tables were dark brown with leather seats all around them.
We sat down at the bar ordering some drinks. Amelia ordered a Mojito while I ordered whiskey sour. I was telling her about how I ran in to a guy when I turned my head at the door, my eyes widening. There he was coming in to this bar, he was still looking as fine as he did before. He sat down at a couple seats away from us, I froze couldn’t speak couldn’t move, just feel embarrassed about what had happened “Roooseeee, why did you stop speaking? What happened next ughhh” she said eagerly “h-he’s here” I said quietly still in shock “whaaat!?” she whispered in a surprise “where” she asked and I slowly pointed my finger towards him, Amelia gasped.
