Another superb book by this author.
"I cannot adequately put into words all the feels I have about this story. It has everything a cozy romance needs sprinkled with magic that can only come from this amazing author. I've made it my mission to read all of her stories, they don't disappoint. "
Funny and cute 😉

"Give us details:Rather than just saying a story is good, provide specific feedback about aspects like the plot, character development, story structure, etc. Be constructive:Offer ideas and suggestions to help improve a story. Think about your lasting impact on the author:Writing is hard work. Ask yourself how can you influence the author in their goal to share their words, get more readers, and see their story become a success. "
The Reluctant Roadtripper
"Funny, relatable, with just enough depth and details in the intimate scenes to stir the imagination. Descriptive scenes from places visited by the characters entice one to visit Scotland/mentioned villages. Heading to your other novels to sate my literacy buds."

"Awww! I love Mirren and Owen's story! Childhood crushes that fell out of touch, reconnecting 10 years later. The way they both are so nervous and blush so much around each other. It is just too cute! 🥰"
A fun read with warm, lovable characters
"Such a loving and warm book. A great story, and caring characters. A nice, cheery read!"
Another great one!
"Really enjoyed this story. It feels as if I’m right there with the characters and experiencing the landscape as well as the love story. Well Done! Another great love story ❤️❤️❤️"

"This is a talented author who has written an absolutely adorable love story with some sprinkles of spiciness. There are charming characters and a main female lead that has a humorous internal dialogue that a lot of us may find relatable. I love the male lead, he’s sexy and confident, yet a vulnerable man, which apparently i’ve decided equals perfect. Definitely worth the read."
Supercute
"If you are looking for well written humorous feel good comfort reading about how a sassy girl meets her forever cinnamon roll; this is it. Thank you author, your stories are always a pleasure to read. "
Cute
"This was the first book I read from this author and loved it so much I binged another 4 books already (in a week or so). I'm returning now to leave a review, but I'm afraid it would be pretty much the same as the one for her other books - it's sweet, it's witty, it's sometimes funny. The books are short ones but the characters have a psychological depth that's usually hard to find in short stories. They are just real, you can relate or at least understand their reasoning for their behaviour. The list of books from this author is like a box of chocolates that you simply cannot put down. So you end up like Forrest Gump with an empty box in a surprisingly short time (and piles of laundry and dirty dishes... But that's another story 😉). Give it a try!"
My future holiday itinerary owes you one
"I absolutely adored The Reluctant Roadtripper! The writing is sharp, funny, and so full of heart I wanted to climb inside the book and hug it. Mirren’s grumpiness felt like a warm hug from my inner introvert, and don’t even get me started on Owen… swoony with emotional depth? Yes, please. (Strictly from a happily married, mum-of-chaotic-twins perspective, of course.) I was grinning like an idiot through most of it, but I nearly died from laughter when he asked her about her eggs and she almost said “unfertilized.” I had to put the book down and breathe like a Victorian heroine in a corset. Pure comedic gold. That kind of perfectly timed, awkward humor just hits me right in the soul. What really stuck with me, though, is how this wasn’t just about romance. It’s also about second chances, growing up without hardening up, and the very relatable horror of a staycation when you’ve packed for something tropical. Bonus: I’ve actually started planning a trip to Scotland for next year, and you better believe I’ve saved half the places mentioned in this book. If I manage to drag my sleep-deprived mum-brain and travel-stuffed family to even one of those scenic stops without losing a kid or my sanity, I’ll consider it a win. 10/10 would recommend if you love heartfelt romantic comedies with real emotional payoff, beautiful scenery, and main characters who make you root for them (even when you want to shake them a little)."
Very good read
"This author never fails to deliver. Love all her books 🙂"
a must read novel 💘💘💘
"Once again, the author has managed to write a wonderful novel. 👏👏👏 The sense of humor, the romance, the realistic perspective of human relationships and the complexity of emotions are perfectly balanced in this story. 😚👌💯 Also, although it has its complexity with everything we don't know about the past shared by our beloved protagonists, the problems that arise during the development make us suffer but don't reach the point of making us wonder if we are reaching points of masochism by deciding to continue reading (which is greatly appreciated 😅). And if we add to all of the above that Owen is on the podium of the most desirable boys in the universe (both physically and emotionally)... it makes this novel a must read for anyone looking for a healthy and comforting romance. With a plus for the naughty scenes. 😏😉 PS: I almost forgot, if I ever get the chance to visit Scotland in the future, I plan to visit the places mentioned in this novel (or as many as I can!)"

"Loved this! Some brilliant one liners. The humour was superb and heartwarming. Poor Sheena!! Still has me chuckling. Lovely story and beautifully told. The intimacy was nice, not over the top. Loved the writing style. Off to read another one! I also really loved all the tips on places to visit. A book to save for my trip next year. "

" Congratulation, i think your stories are funny, witty, and lovely. "

"I really enjoyed this book, so much so that I read in just a few hours, lol. I love her sense of humor and her honesty. There are a few sex scenes, but they are subtle and I like that, especially since they don't overpower the story. Some books are more of that than the actual story, not judging anyone, to each their own, authors and readers alike, but it's just not me. That being said, I highly recommend this book. I'm still dying over the bus comment 🤣."
Love this book and all of your books!
"I’m not sure if it’s the Scottish/Irish similarities in conversation style that make me love how @PollyFord writes but I absolutely adore her writing. I’ve read a few of her books now and I’ve really enjoyed them. Definitely the type of books I’d be recommending to friends if they were published far better than some well known Irish Authors *cough* Cecila Ahern. Your stories are fun and realistic, with a bit of humour thrown in for good measure! Who doesn’t love a good HEA. I’m moving on to the next one now! "
