Chapter 1

The cafe.

"two cream lattes" Ari says while rushing to finish with her last order.

Handing over the two medium warm cups filled with joy for some, she asks if they need anything else and getting a "no, thank you" for a response.

She urges to be home at the moment, knowing all too well that she has to walk 2 miles to get there.

Dreading the long walk she rushes to the back to change out of her uniform. As she hangs her apron in her locker.

With the slight thought of darcy; her best friend and coworker. She hears the clicking of another locker being shut. Glancing back she notices a familiar face.

"Oh, hey Darcy!" Ari says in hope to maybe get a ride home. "Can I by chance get a ride home tonight?"

"Sure, I was already heading your way, I've got work at the parlour tonight" Exclaimed Darcy.

"Oh, thank you!!" says Ari in relief.

At home.

Walking up the two flights of stairs to her apartment, ari scrumbles through her bag looking for her keys.

"Ohh there you are" finally finding the keys after what seemed like ages she sighs in relief as she unlocks the dull brown door to her home and walks straight to her room.

Too tired to even change or have her nightly shower, Ari plops in her bed knowing she'd be sound asleep any second now.

Twisting and Turning in her bed, moving from one side to another, trying to find a comfortable position; half an hour passes by with not even a wink of sleep.

Though Ari felt too tired to even leave bed, she thought maybe a hot shower would help with her sudden insomnia.

Getting up from bed, she hears a sort of ringing in the distance, not thinking much of it she makes her way to the toilet.

As the shower head switches on hot streaming water trickles down her body and then again Ari hears the ringing from earlier but this time it's seems closer.

She turns the shower off to hear the sound better, not moving at all she hears the ringing getting louder and louder as if it's getting closer every second.

"What could be causing such a noise?" She wonders while turning the shower back to distract herself.

And then she hears it; The Voice. Somthing or Someone? Whispering in her ears. "I finallyyy found you" mumbles the voice.

Trembling in fear she asks "W-who are y-y-you?"

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
