"Okay so I'm on chapter 3 and let me tell ya!!! So far an angel was in a sandwich bag that made me laugh. I was doing ridiculous dance moves while she was kicking ass after she got her wings. Last of all I feel like the lost bet will help her out in the long run for some reason. The argument about Michael's growing size has me rolling on the floor and I have tears in my eyes!!!! "From the very first words of the prologue, I was hooked; this story promised to be unlike any other. It's a rare tale of humans, angels, and demons that doesn't commence with a demonic pact. Instead, it delves into the intriguing concept of Angelic pacts – something lesser-known but safer, serving not as a want but a need. The narrative carves its own path within the mythos, and the reimagined Reaper concept is a breath of fresh air. What truly caught my attention was the inclusion of music throughout the story, amplifying the emotions of fight scenes and intense moments. This innovative approach to storytelling is something I plan to experiment with in my upcoming vampire book. Kudos to the artist for this well-executed and praiseworthy addition. The characters, especially Mara, Ghost Michael (as I affectionately named him), and Keres, touched the depths of my soul. Be forewarned; there are triggers of abuse in this story. But I believe this helps us to take a moment and see the world differently. Through their eyes, the pain of millions resonates, prompting a realization about the need for heightened awareness of signs, such as those exhibited by Keres early on or those of the loud drunken father who we know needs to be a little more chill. In my opinion, a sober dad can knock a drunk dad out easy and share an ice pack and make-up beer with him to calm him down. Sadly this drunk dad must not have been knocked out enough. This aspect of the book compelled me to step back, think, and strive for personal improvement. In conclusion, this book, centered around the Little Lost Reaper's quest for more than just a tool, resonates with those seeking wholeness. I not only believe it's a compelling read for anyone, but I also hope fervently for its completion. I award this book five out of five glitters, acknowledging its brilliance and the profound impact it has left on me. Bravo!"
