INTRO- AND THIS SHALL BE WRITTEN IN THE BOOKS.
Before the creation of shapeshifters, humans lived harmoniously with the ten deities in a realm known to none. Humans in that era were either mortal or immortal and together they were called the humanoids in that era. Immortal humanoids possessed supernatural abilities and among them were ten exceptional beings known as the Searz who ruled over humanoids.
The peaceful co-existence between the humanoids and the deities was shattered one fateful day when Selene, the moon goddess’s, initial creation of Zombie shape shifters caused havoc and eliminated the entire race of immortal humanoids, leaving only the Searz and mortal humanoids alive. The Searz, overwhelmed with intense grief of losing their immortal humanoids confronted the deities, and both parties agreed to send humanoids to Earth for the well-being of humanity. Before migrating to Earth, they are brainwashed by Natalia, the goddess of sorcery, leading to them having no memories of their former realm, the ten deities, the searz, and who they were. The humanoids are given a new identity.
A new name.
Humans.
Humans only know they’re just humans and the supernatural is just fiction... a tale in children’s books. Many Eons have gone by and humans continue to fill Earth. Then, Selene, being a deity with a great zeal for creation, began another creation on Earth. Selene created all kinds of shapeshifters before ending her creation with what she called werewolves; half human and half wolf.
Among all her creations, Werewolves were her most beloved and cherished. The rest of the deities blessed Selene’s creations with Eros, the god of love, granting werewolves the precious gift of a mate bond. However, a rule accompanied this blessing, stating “Only through a shared look and touch can one truly identify their mate and feel the bond.”
The Searz got to know of Selene’s creations on Earth and therefore confronted the deities. After much argument, the deities won by persuading the Searz that shapeshifters are also humans with only the difference of morphing into their spirit halves. They then signed a Crimson pact with the deities.
The motive behind the pact was the deities’ verbal and written assurance to the Searz that shapeshifters wouldn’t reveal their authentic self to humans during their entire existence on Earth and among humans. Humans and Shifters could live in harmony if Shifters kept their end of the bargain. To secure the crimson pact, the god of love brought up the idea of the WERECOUNCIL, a supernatural court, which would partner with both the searz and deities. Any shapeshifter to make their authentic self known to humans would answer to the WERECOUNCIL.
Where there is light, darkness must also exist.
In the world of good, there’s also evil
Where there’s peace, there’s Chaos to balance it out.
A series of unfortunate events unfold, almost leading to the extinction of humans and Earth when Lileth, Riot, and Sera, children of the deities, possess werewolves, Accalia, Dylan, and Elara.
Aaryn is left with no choice but to strike two deals with the demigod, Elvys, in exchange for the better good of humanity, shifters, and the happiness of his half-brother, Dylan. Fortunately, everything goes according to plan just in time for Aaryn Darkwood to be chosen as the Prime Alpha.
Unfortunately, Aaryn might have forgotten what his Mama told him once,
“Strike a deal with the devil and you’ll get burned.”
