Prologue
I was flying over the dimensions to escape my father and his tantrums, the umpteenth already this century.
He is so angry because I don’t think a single demon is good enough to rule the underworld with me. After all these years of reign, he is tired and wants to retire. And I’m the eldest son of Lucifer and have to marry a demon.
For centuries, I have been fighting him and his anger.
Until I see her walking beneath me. I’m instantly fascinated by her, walking there with a hooded sweater and a knife in her back pocket.
What is she up to? My curiosity beats my good sense and follows her.
I see her walking to the park where, there is standing, a dark figure, which I do not immediately recognize. I fly even closer until I hit the ground and walk to where she is standing.
I see her standing against one of my father’s demons.
Before he can do anything, she stabs him in the heart with the knife she’s holding. Startled by this action, I hid behind a tree and observed her for a while.
She looks at the creature lying dead on the ground in front of her. When it fades to dust, just as it fades, she goes back toward the forest.
What is she? And why does she attack the creature that is so much stronger than her?
I follow her. And I see a large country house in the distance, where she steps inside. It’s all dark in there, and something tells me I don’t want to get any closer.
My alarms go off with the estate looming closer and closer. But as a demon prince, I don’t feel fear. I come closer and notice that something is not ok. The whole building is blessed. At the first touch, I Let out a scream.
I hear the noise inside and fly away as fast as I can. But not before arrows are firing at me. Shit, what is that? Hiding back at a safe distance, I keep an eye on the entire mansion.
Too afraid to come closer. I am the eldest prince of Lucifer, and I’m scared. I’ve come across demon hunters, but never that many. There are at least seven demon hunters, looking for me.
I have to go, but I will be back!
I want her and, I will get her.
