"For one of the first works I have reviewed on this platform, this surely takes the cake with its novelty and creativity! Its the first time I have come across a selection of smut narratives with a pinch of realism and reality checks mixed into the plot line. Written beautifully, "Smut Stories" provides a look into the story that one may or may not think about often while reading stories from this genre. How certain characters got into the situation they are in right now? What were the events that transpired before the events of the story took place? Why does a character do something in a particular manner or say something? Everything having its place and order within the narrative of the story without details being left out brings this collection together even better. Already invested in some of the characters even though their stories have long since ended, which shows how much of an effort is put in by the author in keeping their readers interested and wanting for more. Here's to more well written stories down the line! Edit: 10/02/2025 (updated series end review) Here I am at the end of this wonderful series, having read through all of the stories and having waited patiently for each new one. And I can say confidently that I probably would not find another one like this. The second half of stories were the best where one could see the kind of effort the author goes into to deliver a fleshed out narrative within a 5-10 min read. Every tale had good potential to be expanded into a proper novel-type read with the right elements. I personally would love to see Story 6 be expanded into a longer format maybe? My reaction at the end of the story was to genuinely know more about what happens after. Sanjay and Radhika need to return if possible, dear author please! These premises coupled with the author's style of writing smut with a twist only made these must reads for anyone trying to get into the genre or even trying to find new angles for their writing. Now to go into some nitpicked thoughts of mine, I had to really think of these when writing this review. Apart from some usual proofreading and clean up editing, there could be a bit more of paragraphs in some places. along with the existing paragraphs, the slightly bigger ones could be broken down too. The descriptive parts should remain descriptive, this just makes it easier on the eyes for the reader. The author has definitely found their groove when it comes to writing short stories like this and would be easily able to write similarly in other genres as well. I look forward to those if they plan on posting more here (lets see how that expanded story comes along). Thank you for blessing us with this work. I await more of your writing.
