Truth Hurts, But Life Goes On...
"This is such a heart touching book! It beautifully captures the saddest truth of life- Death.. Life is indeed unfair and harsh but none the less, it goes on..and this book brings out those emotions soo well. The scene where the little girl, lying on her deathbed, looks at her dad and asks, “Dad, is heaven a nice place?” and her dad holding back his emotions and answering her, broke me. You can feel the heartbreak in every word. Its real, emotional moment that hits you, reminding that life isn't all about sunshine and rainbows. Moreover the parallel drawn with the story of little turtle is just soo good. By the end of it, you’ll probably find yourself sitting there, wiping away a tear, so just keep a tissue handy. Overall, this story is incredibly heart-touching, sad, and deeply philosophical. The sadness is real, but so is the wisdom it offers, its like.. you’ve been given a gentle push to keep going, no matter how tough life gets."

"dear Addie, 1) WHY OH WHY THE TURTLE ALWAYS DIED? This is why I dont watch Nat Geo Wild cause I know its either the turtle or the little lion cub who died thanks to mother nature. It is just so sad to see something barely alive to be taken away again in a second! 2) FALL. IN. LOVE. WITH. THE. WRITING!!! So far I only read the Ms Lupin Case book and this feels different somehow but STILL just as amazing this narrative feels deeeper and more alive ♡ I love the narrative even tho its short it makes me feel something 3) It is story about loss and how sometimes we cannot predict what will happen. something can be taken away without us being prepared for that and thats, simpy, just life. love how you portrayed that truth in a very sweet simple story ♡ which makes me 4) JUST. DEFINITELY. FALL. IN. LOVE RECOMMENDED!!!!!! 5/5, 10/10!!!!!"
