INTRO
Julia and Alexis have been inseparable since the moment they were born. Although twins, Alexis, who goes by Lexi, was born just before midnight on July 3 and Julia, known to most as Jules, followed 23 minutes later making her a 4th of July baby. Their parents couldn’t have been happier. They had been hoping to give their son, Brad, a sibling and were surprised to find out they were blessed with not only one but two daughters.
Brad was immediately protective of his little sisters. At only 3 years old he would read to them and cheer them up when they were sad. As they got older, Brad continued to watch over Lexi and Jules all through school until he inevitably went away to college. Michigan State University wasn’t necessarily his first choice but he liked being close to his family and he enjoyed working at the local auto shop with his best friend Dylan.
As they grew up, the girls never drifted apart. They did of course develop their own personality and styles. Looking at them you would barely notice they were sisters much less twins. Lexi had an edgier personality. Strong willed and opinionated, she didnt take shit from anyone. Dark hair and tan skin with a slightly emo style, she looked pretty intimidating despite being just over 5 feet tall. Jules was the polar opposite. She took after their grandmother. She had strawberry blonde hair with just a sprinkle of freckles across her cheeks and shoulders. Jules was 5’4 and athletic. Both girls shared a love for art but with different passions. Lexi loved to create visual art and Jules was an amazing violinist. Both girls dreamed of going to college in New York.
