I was genuinely hooked from the first chapter to the most recent update. You’ve done such a good job building tension and interest, especially with those little teasing hints you drop along the way. It’s so satisfying to connect the dots later on and see the bigger picture come together like a puzzle. Now, I’ll be honest—I’m not usually into the boy x boy genre. I’m not a romance person at all (I know, I know, maybe I’m yapping too much—but horror and thrillers are usually my go-to). It’s not that I avoid romance entirely; it’s just rare for me to come across a story in this genre that feels worth diving into. But Addicted? is one of the few exceptions. It’s good, like excellent. About your writing style—I love how well you’ve balanced dialogue and description. The way you bring in flashbacks is crazy good too, super effective without being overwhelming. The plot is grounded and emotional without going over the top or being unnecessarily dramatic. You explore very real themes—like Justin’s isolation, the communication gaps, glimpses of parenting, and the messy complexity of human emotions (including sex and addiction)—and it’s all portrayed in a very raw and authentic way. As for the characters: I won’t lie, I don’t have a favorite. But honestly? That’s the best part. Every character feels human. They’re flawed, broken, kind, selfish, vulnerable, and strong all at once—just like real people. No perfect heroes or one-dimensional villains. Just people trying to cope and survive, and that’s what makes them so believable and compelling. Lastly, thank you for this. I’ve been going through a hectic time—shifting houses and dealing with the usual chaos and stress that comes with that—and your story helped me escape all the noise. It kept me distracted from the bad thoughts, the frustration, and the anger. So yeah, I’ll be reading every upcoming chapter you post.
