Foreword (to read)
Hello!
Before reading this tome, make sure you've read the first one: Between Past and Present.
Otherwise, you'll be a little lost ^^'.
A quick reminder: I don't reveal things quickly. I play with your emotions - your frustration, mainly - (yes, you want to know what Ella is hiding, but Ella is a safe that doesn't open easily. Even with all Serkan's love and patience. Because it means laying herself bare, revealing all her fragility, and she's already so psychologically on the edge that a grain of sand could very quickly upset the little equilibrium she's trying to build. All the more so now that Serkan is back in her life and everything it means for her. For them. ) and so no, with me, your curiosity won't be satisfied as quickly as you'd like.
And because you can't change a good recipe, here's my pizza story and what goes with it!
For a pizza to be ready to eat, it's not enough to prepare each ingredient separately. You have to be able to arrange everything at the end. The sauce goes on top of the pizza dough, the cheese on top of the sauce, and in between or on top of the cheese, the other ingredients, etc... and only then will your taste buds fully enjoy the dish in question. Whereas solo dough, like everything else, if you eat it, it's not as good as when it's all put together, is it? So all the ingredients have to be in the right place to be tasted properly. It's the same for this story (and for most of my stories, mind you).
If Serkan is confused, you will be. Because you're moving along with him in the labyrinth of what Ella is willing to deliver. And I have absolutely no control over her. Nor does she, or Serkan for that matter! So only what must happen will happen, in the order they decide. Pray for the salvation of my soul as I try to convey this to you in the best possible way, while trying to negotiate with them so as not to torture you as much as they wish. Sometimes I manage to do it ( like the shot of what Gorgogne did - in part, because yes, you don't know everything about it - to Ella who finished her off at the time. Because basically, apart from Guillaume's revelations, there wasn't supposed to be more ^^' ), sometimes there isn't! I'm currently negotiating for a dramatic irony, but they're formally opposed to it ;-;
So, in this romance, you'll have a slow reveal, and that's normal.
Also, I'm still a fr author, so it's likely, despite my best efforts, that there are a few typos that don't exactly fit what I want to convey. Feel free to point it out if that's the case.
Also, if there are elements that seem unclear to you, since some elements take place in France, and you need clarification, don't hesitate to ask me and I will add it as a footnote.
Enjoy your reading~
