Fantastic Contemporary Story!!!
"A modern world of devices and fast foods and fast love and Kelly our lead female character gets to navigate her way through the hurdles of the modern world. All she asks for is love, which seems far fetched. YET... This story addresses the struggles faced by men and women in this fast world. And it speaks of the bond created in friendship. And the loyalty and bond gets each character through the difficult times. I love the interplay of characters. I love the contemporary style of the writer. And the bond of family. I love the entire plot. Please read this story and get to see the world through the eyes of the modern generation. Great work, author!!🌹🌹🌹"
Romance and wisdom
"This book is full of romance, comedy, mishaps and lessons learnt. The main character goes on an important journey of self discovery and self-love. The author doesn’t shy away from the stupid decisions we all make when heartbroken or desperate for love from the wrong source. The author does a great job of bringing the reader along the journey and keeping us invested. Great book! Would recommend you all read! "I love this book so much!! Kelly was being a dingus at first, but who could blame her? She was "in love," people do stupid things when their love of their lives just broke up with them. I am so happy with the way it ended. The writing style was so beautiful and nice. I loved it! Overall, good job author. 🥰"
Swoon worthy romance
"This book was beautiful from the very beginning, I was captivated by the characters. Kelly is a strong fmc and wanted nothing more than to be the kind of woman her boyfriend Ethan wanted even when he ended the relationship. I was taken with the strong friendship from her best friend Gabe, a total cinnamon roll kinda of guy. He always stood by her side. The romance in this story is beautiful with definite Hallmark vibes. The author is extremely talented and her words just keep drawing you into the story. I loved the final chapter and the insight into Kelly's happy ever after, it had me swooning. I can't wait to start another awesome book by this author "
I LOVED IT!
"Thoroughly enjoy a friends to love theme, also a theme of true regeneration. This book takes you through a whirlwind between happenings and emotions and has feel REAL emotions as you read along. I truly felt like the characters were relatable, especially Kelly. who hasn’t suffered heartbreak? Not many of us can say they haven’t. Ethan is a guy a lot of us want to hate, and he’s also a relatable character. This novel is refreshing, among the usual tropes that are on this app, this is a breath of fresh air and a unique novel in itself. Great job author, I’m going to look through some more of your books! :)"

We sympathise immediately with Kelly after being dumped on the eve of an important milestone. What follows is a journey of self-discovery and a chance for Kelly to realise who and what she truly wants. The key strengths in the text lie in the solid writing skills of Vee Melodie who has excellent characterisation and sharp dialogue, that can turn a moment of the comedy on a dime into something powerfully emotive. "This is a great fast-paced rom-com that features a woman named Kelly who is learning to put her life back together after a bad breakup. She finds comfort in her friends and without spoiling anything, realizes that sometimes the life you want has been right in front of you the whole time. There were some grammatical and plot issues but not so much that it took away from the overall enjoyability of the story. Great job, author!"

"She was expecting a marriage proposal. That was why Kelly dressed herself up in her gorgeous red dress and agreed to meet with Ethan at Joe’s Restaurant. Joe’s was not the most romantic atmosphere in the world. But a girl has to start somewhere. Besides with Ethan’s sheaf of blonde hair, and sexy smile, it was best to snatch him up with a wedding ring before some other girl snagged him. Imagine the hurt, the pain, and confusion Kelly feels when instead of proposing to her, Ethan breaks-up with her instead. “You are too dependent and don’t depend on me at the same time,” Ethan tells her in a list of faults that seemingly contradict each other. “You’re too smart and too dumb. You’re not the woman I want!” Kelly vows to herself to change. Anything to keep Ethan’s sexual and emotional interest. In the meantime she cries her heart out in the arms of her best friend Gabriel, unable perhaps to recognize that true love, (the kind of love that doesn’t require you to change), maybe staring her directly in the face. Good writing and an interesting story. Author Vee Melody begins her story boldly with Kelly’s heart being crushed by the merciless Ethan. This makes Kelly immediately sympathetic. After all which one of us have never experienced a broken heart? In fact I felt so bad for Kelly at times it was difficult for me to experience her story. What kept me motivated though was Gabriel. He’s the type of a guy every girl wants, gorgeous, kind-hearted and he doesn’t require you to change who you are. Lol. This is a good book to read, when you’re looking for a more realistic take on real, human relationships. "

"Thanks to you, this novel is truly something special. Even though I'm not usually a fan of romantic novels, I couldn't help but fall for this book. The way it directly connects to real-life situations is captivating. There are so many Kelly’s out there who find themselves changing for someone who often doesn't appreciate them. But having friends like she did by her side is truly a blessing. In my opinion, the title could have easily been 'All Thanks to Them' because of the amazing friends she had. I just adore it. The writing is flawless, and the excellent English helped me discover new words. In fact, I sometimes had the dictionary right by my side. I truly value this novel, and I'm thrilled that I read it!"

I'm thrilled that Kelly and Gabe ended up together—I love happy endings. I'm glad that Kelly got to know herself and her worth. She had some wonderful friends to help her navigate the tough times. Her mother was amazing, and the characters blended together seamlessly."
Delightful
"This story truly is delightful. It's a fast paced romance starting with a heartbreak when a boy dumps a girl. This tragic heroine goes through a whirlwind of emotional states, and not making it easy on her closest friends who are always there for her. She tries to date again, but her ex is always on her mind, and she's willing to change herself to get him back..It's a toxic but at the same time, humorous situation. You'll love the helpless heroine but also want to strangle her at times. Some minor issues with grammar, and perhaps the time line could be indicated clearer....but overall the author writes great dialogues, effortlessly portraying the emotions of people involved, the characters are distinct and believable...the plot unfolds quickly and it's a well rounded story, very enjoyable to read. Romance lovers this one is for you! "
Engaging and realistic
"Kelly, dumped by a man she dreamed of marrying in what seems to be the least appropriate moment of her life, feels like a carpet was pulled from under her feet. Her life changes, and she pulls herself back to her feet and changes with it, transforming, growing, and becoming more experienced while she's looking for what she values the most-- love. I have a feeling that real love has been there, lurking in the form of her good friend, since before the beginning of this story :) Let's hope Kelly will open her eyes and look in the right direction! "

"Wow, what a whirlwind! Good story. It starts off with a little heartbreak but then the MC uses the heartbreak to propel herself forward and make something better of her life. I like how realistic the problems are and the ending is so wholesome. If you are wanting to read a slice of life, this is the book for you! "
A story of Transformation
"I've read about 5 chapters and the story really captured my interest. All of us have experienced heartbreaks and desperation in life be it from a break-up, loss of a loved one, career going downhill or for whatever else....so we can fully relate with the main lead Kelly. But all through the difficulties she is facing, we can still see the sweetness and hidden depth of her character with a bit of craziness which accounts for her messy home and mad video game skills. It's this hidden depth, that makes her hurt so much and miss her Ex after the break-up. I hated her Ex Ethan, can't imagine anyone behaving the way he did after having been together with her for 5 long years. But, yes the world is full of such jerks. I am a person who values friends, so yes loved her friends Gabe & Emma for being there for her...... planning to finish reading this beautiful story of Kelly's growth & transformation. "

Such a short and sweet story!
"Kelly, our main girl, is such an interesting case. She went from wanting to be better for her toxic ex, to finding love in her best friend! She pulled herself together to become successful and accomplished something most people would be afraid to do! It’s a short read, but definitely a good one. You can feel Kelly’s pain as she’s mourning being broken up with by her ex. But then you get to see her growth as she finds happiness. Getting to see her thriving for herself and not anybody else is refreshing. "
