Chapter 1 MEETING HER
Alec’s Pov

I jolted up to the sound of the enormous clock we had at the Omega quarters which was the dirty old pack house signalling it was four Am and time to wake up.Alpha Roland had the new one built when he took the alpha position from his father,he said it was too old fashioned and couldn't contain the increasing number of wolfs.the pack was growing though personally I think he just couldn't fathom living in the same roof with an omega,cause why leave a whole pack house for just the omegas,well that was nineteen years ago not really my business,all I wanna do now is to throw that stupid clock at the bottom of the the ocean.
My name is Alec knight I'm a twenty one years old wolf with no parents no family no nothing. I had no one,I was orphaned when I was three years old.there was a fire at the old pack hall eighteen years ago our former alpha and the alpha of the crescent pack had a misunderstanding at an Alpha's meeting and I was told things got pretty heated nobody ever gave me full details all I knew was my parents were serving that day.i grew up sad and alone and being an omega didn't help I was miserable on a daily basis.i had to work from four to twelve and eat scraps. Oh and to crown my lonely life I was mateless,wolfs were supposed to meet their mate when they turn eighteen,well that hasn't happened yet but I'm hopeful I'll meet her soon.and we would love her and be happy my wolf Drake said.
I got up from the my stupid bunk bed and headed for the shower I have to hurry before that stupid lazy bum Roger wakes up
Roger's my childhood nemesis to think we omegas are to stick up for one another I mentally rolled my eyes Roger hated my guts since we were pups.he would always pick on me with his stupid buddies mark and Joe.
Wasn't like I couldn't kick his ass when it comes to it but he had the three on one advantage all the time
Why I had to hurry is cause the last time I took my sweet time to shower I ended up with paint all over and mean all over I was blueie the gini for a week.
Now I'm fully dressed and ready to work.yeah work
See we omegas are the lowest of the low in the hierarchy of wolfs minus the rogues those are disgusting outlaws with no pack and no family.sad if you ask me.Back to what I was saying omegas are lowest in rank which makes us the workers
We cook,clean,wash,build,organize except guard those are for the regular wolfs.
Heading to the new pack hall where I'm to help decorate for the up coming moon circle celebrations.
every year our pack holds a big gathering for unmated wolfs from our pack and other packs aswell thereby helping unmated wolfs to find their soul mate
Thinking about mates always brought a smile to my face I haven't found her yet but I loved her already,I've been praying to the moon goddess to bring her to the celebrations tonight.this is my third year attending the moon circle but I hope this year would be different.
Coming in front of the new hall and reading the sign for the thousandth time.Brave stone pack hall.Brave stone was the name of our pack always hated the name but reputation proceeds it.we were the most feared in Alaska.
Going in I couldn't help but smile we have out done ourselves once again the sight was breathtaking everything was decorated with white or blue from the tables and chairs to the doors and the chandeliers and yet we were not done the finishing touches are to be made this morning for the festivities tonight.
After four hours of planning and decorating I'm beyond exhausted but as usual we are not allowed to rest untill it's dark untill everyone else goes to sleep.being an omega sucks it's always from one work to another with little or nothing to eat .

I heard a sweet innocent but familiar voice say, I turned around and met bright blue eyes looking directly at me I smiled and said hi and she blushed I knew this girl but I'd completely forgotten her name think it was Florence or Francesca or Fiona.
Fiona she said reading my expression it's Fiona I couldn't help but smile she was really beautiful."but she isn't ours" Drake my wolf stated, I just wanted to ask if you'd be my escort to the moon circle celebration tonight I heard her say, I'm sorry Fiona but I can't I'm on Royal duty tonight which means I'd be serving the Alpha's family personally I'm sorry, it's fine she said and left looking a little sad.i felt a little bad for the girl but Drake was pissed he didn't want us to be with another female other than our mate.
After I was done with my tasks I went back to the quarters to get ready for the celebrations I had to be on time so I can usher the alpha family and serve them.After I showered again and wore my stupid uniform i headed for the pack hall on my way I felt lightheaded and Drake was really unease he was pacing back and forth in my head giving me a headache.Drake what's wrong?
Concern dripping from my voice as I asked him.i don't know but I feel something is coming something big he replied,let's just try and make it through tonight hopefully we'll meet her here Drake.
Standing by the enormous table for the higher ranks it was time for the Alpha and beta's families to come in and announce the beginning of the festivities. Just as the alpha stepped in my wolf became frantic and started pacing in my head again what is it,what is it Drake but I got no reply and just as I was about to ask again it hit me. I smelt the most amazing smells.they flooded my nose like a running river, warm honey, blueberry pie,lilac and roses,by now my eyes were obviously black a sign that my wolf was trying to take control and the only thing I heard from Drake was "MATE!!.
Smelling the air I searched for her with my eyes cause I couldn't leave my post she must be one of the maids of the alpha families here from another pack I couldn't wait to see her until my eyes met beautiful green orbs and Drake started chanting mate in my head causing me a migraine I couldn't move I was awe struck and dumbfounded. No,noway it can't be,it just can't be her.
Just as I was about to say something she ran
She ran away from us Drake said cowering in my mind .
