Chapter 1
The well decorated car came to a halt in front of the cathedral where families and friends were gathered to witness this wonderful day where two souls becomes one.
With a sigh the bride alighted the car and looked around. Today is the last she would stare at the world with a forlorn look. All her life she has been forced into living in a society that was harmful to her, but she could do nothing but obey. She was even forced to marry her soon to be husband__
but alas they fell in love and here she was about to move on to the next chapter of their lives together to fight against all odds.
She looks at the sky and takes a deep breath before walking towards the closed doors which gave way for her to come in.
With a smile she walked into the cathedral to behold doom. Inside the cathedral was a dreadful silence in place of the cheerful chiming of wedding bells. Everyone was frozen in place as an unknown darkness loomed around.
The eldritch scene that laid in the sight of the bride had her rooted to a spot.
" Uh ", was suddenly heard." Who do we have here? ".
" W....... w....... who.... is...... there ", the bride stutter.
" Oh my, it's Creda ", the voice cried in excitement and continued." The forlorn bride who cried herself to sleep every night since the day she was betrothed ".
How.......she thought, no one but herself knew she soiled her pillow with tears when that evil man betrothed her for a plot of land. Afraid her fiance would be a no good man who would make life a living hell for her, she...............
" Ha ha, ha ", came the hysteric laughter of the voice cutting her thought short." The forlorn bride who employed the elements to make ruin of her life on the day her freedom would be taken away from her ".
" I...... I..... I... ".
" But who knew, she would fall for the prison keeper? ", the voice state.
Sure, she had cursed her wedding day. Then she was sad and filled with rage but no one was there......
" So absurd, no one was there ", the voice mimicked a foreign tone." The wind was there, I the ear in the walls was there and so were the elements ", it continues." You called for their help, remember? ".
" I......I........ ", the bride stutters loss of words to say, confusion pulsating through her body. " Who are you? ".
" I am your doom ", the voice thundered. " My doom? ", the bride inquired before suddenly chuckling to her surprise." You are not ", she says but continues with out waiting for an answer." You know why, "Cause I am the doom of myself ".
" Oh really ", the voice snickers." I believe so ".
A finger snap was heard and the darkness that clouded the room began to fade immediately everything became normal, just as it ought to be.
The bells began to chime, smiles plastered across the face of the people seated. And a even more bigger smile on the groom face.
She placed a hand on her chest, a sigh of relief escape her lips. She must have been hallucinating. Putting on a smile she raised her glass slipper to take a step.
