Chapter 1 - Akito POV
He looked at me from across the hallway, giving a smirk at me. Showing that I was his target. Only his.
His short dark brown hair and his dark green eyes were both absolutely beautiful and went perfect with his tan skin and scattered freckles that was all over him.
I was walking down the hall, the opposite direction from him. He comes over to me from behind and pulls my fluffy, white-ish blonde hair, pulling my head back. I turn my head and look at him, he looks into my eyes and he has that same smirk stuck on his face.
He pulls my hair and grips harder, pulling some strands of hair out of my head. “Y’know. Your white hair draws too much attention. It’s distracting and ugly. I think red will look good in it.” He says as he pours his red sports drink into my hair slowly, getting me soaked and sticky.
He pushes my head, causing me to almost fall. He just laughs and turns around, walking to his group of friends and the attention seeking girls.
I walk home, having to deal with red, sticky hair. I walk inside and I hear my mom come over to me with a beer bottle in her hand. Her face is red and she is stumbling everywhere. “Oh noooo, what happened… to my sweet little ghost…” She asks, stumbling over to me. I feel my cheeks tingling as tears form in my eyes, but I don’t want her to see it. “Nothing.” I mumble before I walk to my room to put down my stuff and then going to take a shower.
I sit in my bed and look up at the ceiling, thinking about what had happened. I think and think and yet I still can’t find a reason that he could do that. I mean, maybe for popularity? For fun? Maybe it’s entertaining, I guess.
The next day, it’s just the same thing. The day after that also. Then all day, every week, every month. He just looks at me with that grin and then I know that something bad is going to happen to me.
He likes the tears that come out of my eyes, even when I try to hide them. He finds it pleasing when my tears hit the cold floor.
4 months of having to deal with this torture and not being able to do anything about it felt like hell. I felt something was off about him though. Not that I should be concerned about it, but the sense of something wrong if definitely there when I come into contact with him.
I go into my home room class and grab my books, walking down the stairs to go to the exit of the building, but I hear noises. I look at the other side of the stairs and I see two people, one pinning the other onto the wall, both of them kissing each other. I look closer and I see Jaden, the guy who bullies me, making out with a guy.
My mouth drops and Jaden looks over at me while his and the guys lips are interlocked with each others. He pulls away from the guy and he starts to run to me, I pick up my book and sprint out of the building. He chases me until my chest burns and I slow down a bit. He grabs the collar of my school uniform and he pulls me onto the ground. He grabs the front of my shirt, bending over me. He’s mad, really mad. His face says it all.
“I swear, if you tell anyone about this. You’re dead. Like actually. Don’t tell ANYONE about this. You hear me?” He says with a strong tone. I nod. He lets go and leaves the school.
I get home and I can’t sleep from it. He likes guys? The guy who makes fun of me, likes guys?
I get to school the next day and Jaden gives me a weird look and just walks past me in the hall. Normally he would atleast shove me against the wall, but this time he didn’t even get close to me.
