Olivia Herby was only trying to survive and get away from her boyfriend, Lamar Jackson. Everything was great in the beginning but lately things have been getting worse. Lamar has become abusive and Olivia needs to get away before he ends up killing her.

Olivia takes a chance and makes a run for her life and ends up at an empty mansion. She hides from Lamar as he searches the mansion. The owner of the mansion, Brett Landford watches the entire situation via a camera feed set up through the property. He activates the alarm systems which scares away Lamar - for now.

After finding out the owner of the house was out of town, Olivia decides to stay in the house, hiding from Lamar until she figures out her next move. During her stay, Brett watches her and starts to converse with her through the security system unbeknownst to her that she is actually talking to him and not a super intelligent AI security system.

Unfortunately, Brett's on-again, off-again significant other, Daphne, doesn't like his attention being elsewhere other than her. Therefore she takes matters into her own hands which results in Lamar finding Olivia.

Will Brett find out what happened to Olivia? Will getting rid of Olivia help Daphne gain the attention of Brett again? Will Olivia get away from Lamar permanently?
