Summary

A pampered prince with everyone at his beck and call. His future was set—he would grow and inherit the throne, and with it a powerful and prosperous kingdom to be his to rule. His subjects would adore him, praise him, and most importantly, obey him. Such is the natural order of things. But fate doesn't follow the natural order, and the nine-year-old prince could never have anticipated the direction his life would follow after a violent disruption of his once luxurious life at the hands of foreign invaders.
