Chapter 1
She stopped to catch her breath as she looked back at what used to be her home. She could never go back or she would only be met with villagers hellbent on killing her if she was to return. Willow had never known her biological parents, a villager had found her alone in the woods when she was a baby. She had no idea of the power she would discover the day she turned 16. Willow ducked behind a tree and sat down, all she had with her was a strange hawk she had named Watcher, due to the fact that he had always been following and watching her for as long as she remembered. She stood up and walked further into the woods, following the sound of a running river. When she found the river she sat down by the bank, she stared into the river and noticed something glowing an eerie purple color, she reached down into the water to grab it, but when her fingers brushed against it something pulled her into the rushing water.
