Backstory:
The country of Alianza in the world Milieu. Alianza gained its independence from Soldar 15 years ago. Genevieve’s parents were killed during the war of independence so she resents/has prejudice against Soldar however this changes when she meets Nico. The national flower of Alianza are Sunflowers and the national animal are the sorraia horses. All creatures have the ability to reach “immortality” once they have trained their powers. Immortality increases healing, prevents illness, and slows aging (age 1 year for every 700 years lived). Alianza-democracy, Soldar- monarchy; The Thor River divides Soldar from Duned and Cubit but there is a bridge from Soldar to Cubit. Duned has an Emperor, Cubit has a Prime Minister and Parliament, Bondu has a President and senate/representatives, Soldar has a Queen recently widowed, Alianza has 2 presidents (one from each majority party) in addition to a senate/representative/legislature. Most of the nations/countries are Monotheistic except Bondu is Polytheistic-they have many deities and they also worship saints. Duned is known for textiles and agriculture, Cubit’s main industry is solar and wind energy, witches and wizards also use magic to power lights etc; Bondu specializes in fishery, Soldar has a strong technology industry; Alianza is known for pottery and other arts, they also have the best medical industry and produce a lot of scientific research.
