Sweet Holy Honey

Alicia Givens is a beautiful, full-figured 23 year old woman with an amazing voice. She sings like an angel. She's on her way to try and make it as a singer. Her friend, Shaunice Weathersby, has been her best friend since elementary school. Alicia feels she's always been the 'big girl' with the bubbly personality, yet she still has a few self esteem issues. She settles for guys who basically play around with her feelings until she finally gets tired of the game.

Shaunice wants Alicia to find someone who values her and not Maurice Gibbs, who Alicia has been seeing. Alicia understands that Shaunice doesn't like Maurice, but Alicia feels she owes him a lot due to the fact that he has been trying to get her singing career off the ground as her manager as well as her boyfriend. Shaunice thinks Maurice is complete trash.

Alicia is aware but she's so attracted so much to Maurice: the sex is good and he makes promises of getting her noticed by being her manager. Shaunice doesn't trust Maurice at all and is willing to get Alicia to see him for who he really is.

As luck would have it, Maurice is able to get Alicia an audition with the CFE group, owned by Marcus Harper and Franklin Studdard (That's Why I Love You) and things take off. Even after getting Alicia noticed, Maurice doesn't change his ways.

Fate steps in and Alicia's eyes are opened by Suave Rob, another artists with CFE. He likes what he sees in Alicia and shows her how a real man is supposed to treat a woman. Alicia finds herself torn between the person who was with her from the start of her career and a person who makes her feel like a Queen.

Will Alicia allow herself to be love the way she deserves?

Will Maurice go away after all of the work he had done for Alicia?
