Twisted Fate: Omega for the Twin Lycan Kings

Summary

Firm lips pressed kisses deep into my neck, a hot tongue flicking out to trace the mating mark that he'd placed there just moments ago. I was in heaven. He groaned against my skin, "You taste so good Faith". My head swirled with pleasure as he continued his slow, sensual assault. I'd never felt anything like it. My every cell was buzzing, just waiting for his next move. Dinus adjusted and bit down on my neck, opening the mark again and licking the fresh blood that fell from me. His approving growl humming over my skin, and making me shudder with an even deeper pleasure. "So sweet, my little mate." The breathy laugh felt easy as my hands explored the skin of his shoulders, pushing into his silky hair to pull him closer to me. To keep his lips on me. "Lucky that you have a sweet tooth then, isn't it?"

Chapter 1: Hurt again

A/n Warning all, there are only five chapters coming because Galatea own the copyright. I’m still writing this, so feedback welcome!

For those of you who have read the first two books, this one blends them. The rogue pack that Eliza and her mate move to is next to Anoud and her mate, and they become friends. Faith is in the rogue pack.

POV Faith

"So sweet, my little mate."

The breathy laugh felt easy as my hands explored the skin of his shoulders, pushing into his silky hair to pull him closer to me. To keep his lips on me. "Lucky that you have a sweet tooth then, isn't it?"

He chuckled, rolling over and taking me with him so that I straddled his hips. He was hard again, his length nestled perfectly between my thighs.

The sensation pulled a gasp from me, and he groaned again in response "You sound so good too. I could listen to your moans all day sweetheart. Forever."

There was a sincere promise in his eyes, and I had to bite my lip to keep the whimper of need inside. That sounded perfect. My mate.

Forever bound.

His eyes darkened and he gripped my ass tightly, rubbing me along his cock to wet it with my arousal. Dinus groaned, he seemed to revel in how wet he made me, and I tried not to blush at how slick I was. How desperate he made me.

"Are you ready to make more sounds for me?" I nodded, and large hands shifted to grip my hips, effortlessly lifting them up before he plunged into me so deep that I had to cry out. The tinge of pain mixing with pleasure to make every thrust even sweeter.

He was rough and powerful, keeping me locked close to him as we rocked our bodies desperately together. I loved it, my body completely taken over with bliss. Soul complete.

Stilling, Dinus pulled me down until our bodies were flush and took my lips in a kiss that almost tipped me over the edge. "You're mine. Say it."

He flexed in deeper still, drawing a desperate cry from my lips "Oh, goddess! Yes! I'm yours Dinus. Only yours."

With another possessive growl, Dinus started to thrust up into me with long strokes, finding a steady rhythm and keeping me in place with a strong grip on my waist.

All I could do was take it. Take the pleasure that tingled from my toes, spreading over my body with every drag of his body against mine.

Heaven.

I would never have guessed sex felt this good. How did mated people ever leave their beds?

"Oh, fuck! Faith....you feel so good."

Sitting up, he tangled his hands in my hair and pulled me into a deep kiss. His hip movements paused as he kissed over my eyes, my cheeks, taking my lips slowly before pulling back and smiling at me. "I love you, Faith. You're so beautiful, my soul."

My soul....

My eyebrows scrunched as I lifted from the dream for a moment. My mind grasping at the last moments of that beautiful vision.

That beautiful memory. It felt wrong. A hint of darkness clouded the edges of my mind before I plunged into unconsciousness again.

Our bedroom door slammed shut, the action pulling a draft from the open window and chilling my skin as I woke with a start.

Disoriented. It took me a few moments to see the shadow of my mate by the entrance. My lips curved automatically, and I reached for him.

He didn't move.

My smile faltered slightly when our eyes connected. His were dark silver with his Lycan, the anger in them burning into my very soul.

Was his Lycan side angry that he'd accepted our bond?

I was just an Omega, but...surely that wouldn't matter to him? With a blink, the beast was gone, but the anger remained.

Dinus took a deep breath in, then blew it out harshly. His whole body tightened before he finally pushed off the wall towards me.

Taking fast strides into the room, he grasped my arm roughly and pulled me from the bed. "Get up."

He sneered into my face, and I flinched back at the pure fury he was exuding. His Aura suddenly suffocating. "What?..."

"What? Did the filthy little Omega think she could sleep in my bed all night?"

Tears filled my eyes as realisation slowly dawned on me. He was being serious, he was kicking me out after we had mated...rejecting me.

But he'd said that this was our room, that I was never to sleep another night away from him. He was so passionate. Had he really - had he lied about it all?

Dinus was three years older than me, and at 21 he was already known as a playboy. Oh goddess, I had been a fool. He had made a fool out of me.

I watched as he stormed around the room, collecting the clothes that we'd left scattered during our mating, before bundling them and throwing them at me violently. "Get dressed. You make me sick."

The sudden jab of pain in my stomach drew a cry from me, and I bolted upright as it seared through my body.

It took a moment for reality to set in, and I grasped my racing heart to rub the pain away.

My dreams were never kind.

Almost every night I felt the pain of my rejection. It was never-ending torture for my soul.

Not that I had one anymore, that had flown away to the heavens when he had uttered the words that broke my heart.

I took a long breath, heart still beating rapidly at the memory.

At least today the dream had been cut short and I didn't have to re-live the actual moment my world fell down around me. When he had said the words with hate.

Rejected me. Made me an outcast. Sent me out here all alone.

How naïve I had been back then. So painfully naïve.

"Muma?" The little kicker in my bed curled into my side. "Is it time to wake up?"

I pressed a kiss into his hair and hugged him tightly, "Not yet little one, go back to sleep baby."

Zane smiled then fell asleep immediately, snoring lightly against my neck.

He was five already, and the best kid anyone could ask for.

He reminded me so much of the man who haunted my dreams.

I pushed the thought away, like I did every time it entered my mind. Zane was nothing like his father.

He was sweet, funny, and loved everyone he met. A born leader, racing around with the other pups, but nothing like my mate.

Dinus always wore a scowl around me when we were younger. He didn't even try to hide his disdain for Omegas - or anyone weaker than him.

I should have known better than to trust him. I just should have known better.

Goddess, no! Stop it Faith. Just stop it.

Why did I still give him this power over me? Over half a decade later, and the shadowy memories of my rejection still brought a weight down heavy on my chest.

I felt sick. On edge. Disgusted with myself.

I rubbed the empty space where my soul should rest again and sighed. I hated waking up to this feeling.

Time to shake it off.

Another new day.

Thanking the Goddess that Zane was such a sound sleeper, I pulled away and went about another morning alone.

Dressing in a daze, preparing his lunch for school and making breakfast. I did it all on autopilot. A practised routine.

It made me miss my mum and dad so much that tears fell down my cheeks most mornings.

Being a mother had given me a new appreciation for every lunch box she made me, for every morning my dad walked me to school.

A coldness settled over me as memories of my childhood flooded my mind; helping my mum to de-string the beans; collecting herbs from the greenhouse; picking the fruit every year and helping my dad to make vats of jam with it.

It was a lovely, gentle, upbringing.

And it had come to a startling - brutal - end.

I never told my parents who my mate was, only that he had rejected me. That was all his command allowed me to say before I left.

I wish I had told them anyway, even if it meant death. I wish I had been able to tell them about the pregnancy. Maybe if I had then they wouldn’t have died.

They would have come with me and been safe.

A rogue attack - it was briefly reported on the news and I didn’t get any more detail than that.

Dinus wouldn't answer my calls, for all I knew he had a new number, and I couldn't speak about the pack to anyone else.

I'm so painfully alone.

I was grateful when I came to this pack. A pack of rogues, they didn't ask the questions that any other pack would have asked.

The Alpha and Luna knew that I was a Lycan, the only one in our pack. They barely mentioned it, the only evidence that they cared was the upgraded equipment appearing overnight which could handle the extra power.

They were more interested in the skills I had, than digging up my past. Thank the Goddess.

I thought I was nothing, that I had nothing to offer, but in a new pack it turns out knowing how to preserve crops and tend to the bees was a valued skill. And so I found my place, and a little peace.

Taking my tea into the garden, I thought about how nervous I'd been when Anoud had joined the neighbouring pack as their Luna.

I had started packing, but I didn't need to worry - she hadn't recognised me. She didn't know who I was, not even now that we were close friends.

She didn't really see me when we were younger, just the little kitchen omega. I was grateful when she put the initial flicker of familiarity down to me being a Lycan.

If she ever recognised me, then I would have to leave.

If any of them discovered my secret, then I'd have to run again.
