Summary

Original stories told in the fashion of Rod Serling's "The Twilight Zone." While the title of this collection of short stories is "Tales from the Twilight Zone," all are original works by the author, with the exception of the Introduction which is a collection of all opening sequences from the show. It only seemed fitting to be in the universe of Rod Serling's "The Twilight Zone." It felt too much of a disservice to the inspiration of these stories to give it a different title. I would like to credit the first 13 stories to my close friend Ryan Knight who sent me all the writing prompts that led to the creation of this collection. Thank you. You monster.

Introduction

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears and the summit of his knowledge.

It is an entity of its own that reaches into the deepest crevasses of the darkest corners of the mind with only the thin line that separates fantasy from reality. You need only step through the door.

You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You’re moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas.

There’s the signpost, up ahead...

You’ve just crossed over into...

The Twilight Zone...
