Chapter 1
Song looked out the window of the skyscraper. He could almost touch the white puffy clouds they looked so close to where he stood at the window. His neatly pressed black Armani suit was custom-made perfectly to his fit. His hair combed to perfection not a strand out of place and his Breluti leather shoes pressed against the floor. He sighed as he looked at his GMT master 18-carat brilliantly cut diamond, white gold Rolex that cost half a million dollars and it was one-of-a-kind.
His two friends Tony Mahfud and Keith Powers smiled as they watched him, sitting behind him on leather office seats.
"What's the matter, Kang? Grandma Evil has another meeting scheduled with you today?" Tony smirked asking.
"Unfortunately, yes. The old bat probably has more complaints about my social life and how I can potentially ruin the company with my Playboy ways, yadda, yadda, yadda. It's so redundant and boring. She should be focused on the fact that I've made this fucking company more money than it's ever had. Still, her old ass refuses to turn over everything to me completely." Song sucked his teeth.
Both Keith and Tony chuckled.
"No doubt she has already learned of our wild night in Rio last night. Really Song a blond and a redhead." Keith teased.
"And both their pussies were worth the pounding," Song smirked licking his lips.
"Ah, no wonder Grammy has a problem with poor lil rich Song taking over the company. She sees a forever player and no marriage in sight."
"Fuck that." Song turned from the window to face his friends. "I'm never marrying what she wants or now for that matter. She probably wants me with some mousy, elite Korean girl. That's not happening." Song said sternly gnashing his teeth closely.
"Maybe it shouldn't happen." Keith challenged.
"What?" Song asked confused.
"What if you were to find someone outside of what your grandmother or even you would marry."
Tony chuckled while Song scoffed. "If you think I'll marry some bitch I don't even want, like our friend Tony here in an arranged marriage you have another thing coming buddy."
"Hey watch it, Kang. My wife isn't so bad." Tony glared at him.
"Yet it doesn't stop you from getting your dick wet in every other hoe, every chance you get," Song smirked and Keith shrugged because it was true.
Tony just sucked his teeth.
"But seriously Song, what if you did marry outside of expectations as a way to stick it to dear old granny." Keith chuckled. "Nah that's never going to work. You're too into your name to marry some common bitch. You'd be divorced within three months from embarrassment." Keith and Tony laughed.
"You're giving him way too much credit my friend. I'd say annulment within 30 days." Tony teased. I'd bet half a mil on it."
Song's head snapped up. It was bad enough his friends were laughing at him but they thinking he was too shallow to accept such a challenge was amusing to him. His grandmother would have a stroke if he married outside of what she expected. He rubbed his chiseled chin. Maybe he could use this to his advantage and decrease the surplus population that was his grandmother out of this world and gain his heart's desire.
"Are you broke or some shit?" Song asked suddenly with a challenge for both of his friends who looked at one another. Up the bet to 2 and a half billion each. Just how common is the girl I'd have to marry?" Song sat in his leather chair smug with his legs crossed.
This was nothing new to the friends they'd make random bets like this all the time with each other. But this one would be their biggest yet. Keith and Tony looked at each other.
"You're willing to lose 5 billion of your fortune just for this bet?" Tony asked to clarify leaning forward.
"I'm willing to gain 5 billion more to add to my already 30 billion," Song smirked.
Keith smirked wickedly. "Okay, Song Kang but let's not make it too easy for you. We will accept but you have to marry someone of our choosing and remain married for an entire year. No matter how this person looks or acts." Keith challenged making Tony smirk along with him.
Song rubbed his chin dropping his smile. What if they chose someone who could drop his social status and bring him down completely? Could he risk 5 billion on such a bet? But also, his grandmother would lose her shit if he was to marry such a person. Her pressure would probably rise, and she'd croak quicker or something. "Ok, I accept."
Keith and Tony looked at each other smiling. "We need to see that in writing Kang."
