"I enjoyed reading this so so much for the GEA. I completely got wrapped up in Wilson and Leanne's story and loved getting to know them over the course of this book - they felt so incredibly real and 3D and I especially loved their connection over music. The interpersonal stakes were strong and kept me rooting for these two through every word, and that tied in with the stress of dealing with bullying and peers and a school trip made for a read that kept me on my toes. The style was easy to read and swept me up in the story, acting as a canvas for the characters and their emotions to shine, and the grammar mishaps were few and far between - certainly nothing to distract me from the overall story! And the ending was just about as perfect as you can get, ending on a heartwarming, hopeful note. I loved this story so much and I'm so happy I got the chance to read and judge it for the awards. Well done! :)"
