Chapter 1 My Nightmare

Busan's dead silence of the night, the chirping of crickets, the full moon shone in the dark sky as it's light peeked in the room through the curtains.
"Jimin!!" I screamed as I woke from my sleep breathing heavily, and looked at my surroundings.
My room was the same as I saw it before I slept, the only light was of moon coming from the balcony.
Another dream
"It happened again!" I got startled as I heard a female voice.
I looked at the door and saw Alice, my bestfriend.
"It's been an year Y/N, you should move on!" She said as she sat at the edge of the bed.
"I cant..I j-just cant.. I try every single time to get rid of all those memories but they haunt me.. Alice I'm sick of this now.. We were so good together" I said as tear escaped my eyes.
"Drink some water and try to sleep. Do you want me to stay?" She asked, concern reflecting her voice.
"No it's okay, you can go and sleep I'll be sleeping too. Good night" I replied as she nodded and went back to her room.
Sleep was the farthest thing now, I drank some water and went in the balcony to get some fresh air. The room was suffocating me now.
The full moon stood there in the dark sky, illuminating brightly. Even though it has it's own scars but still it shines brightly and is adored by all. Wish I could embrace my scars and insecurities the same.
I kept staring at it as all the memories started flooding my mind.
"You like sky watching right?!" He asked as we both sat at the beach looking as the sky.
"Like? I love it" I replied
He smiled and said "Whenever you feel lonely and just in case when I'm not around you, just look at the moon and the stars, maybe somewhere else I'll be looking at it too"
"Hm, but this ain't gonna happen cuz I'll never leave you" I said as we both hugged each other.
The emotions overwhelmed me and I let my tears flow.
Here in Seoul, someone too was staring at the night sky.
"You said you wouldn't leave me.. Then what about now! You broke the promise,
Y/N you broke every single promise we made. I miss you, I miss you alot." I couldn't help as tears started flowing.
I was staring at the sky when I heard someone knocking at my door.
Who would be at this hour?
I quickly wiped my tears and opened the door.
"Jimin oppa, listen I need your help.. Wait- what happened to your eyes? Why are they red? Are you crying!!?" My 19 year old sibling worried about me.
"No sera I wasn't crying."
"You are lying see your eyes are all red." She said opening the front camera of her phone and showing me my face.
My eyes were indeed red, I should've checked before opening the door.
"I was binge watching so due to extra screen time my eyes have gone red! I wasn't crying" I said and she finally looked convinced.
"By the way, what brings you here at this hour?" I asked to change the topic.
"Oh about that, I actually have an assignment to complete, like I've completed the most of the parts just a few work remain, please help me" she requested.
"Ugh, you know how much I hate this stuff, can't you ask your yoongi oppa." I whined
"He is sleeping and you know what happens when we disturb his sleep" she said and shrugged.
"Okay fine come inside, let's finish this soon and sleep"
"Thank you oppa, you're the best" she said as she hugged me and I let out a chuckle.
