Preface.
Your first words were what took my breath away. The graceful way everything flowed. You knocked my socks off. You didn't know then but you would come to find that out. I'm sure your intent was genuine but admittedly, I was confused by your words.
At first, that is.
But the more letters we wrote to one another, the more intense things felt.
There was a moment in time in which I felt like a single word would light my skin ablaze. That was until you came home. Roman made me come to see when you landed back home.
At first I was annoyed but when I saw you come through the gate, the sheer sight of you made me weak in the knees. The way you were staring at me caused a clench in my abdomen that I had only felt when reading your letters to me.
But somehow, you knew I'd react like that.
And like a love fool, I fell.
I fell hard.
But did you fall too?
