"I enjoyed the slow pace revealation of the story and the protagonist`s storyline. You also used the present tense in an engaging way and how you revealed the change in perspective by dropping her father`s reaction to his finger is beautiful, well done. I am looking forward to the next chapter."

"I definitely liked this short story more then the first one, however this feels more like a continuation of the first short story and thus should be in hidden gem. instead of keeping the POV with girl you could maybe have it as a neighbors or maybe even her parents as to make the story its own without taking it out of the conjoined story dynamic. The writing is still kind of choppy though and i think you could definitely work one it. I do find the slice of life story very compelling though and think you could actually take them quite far."
