The Fall
Mount Ebott, Surface - 2015.
Panting, tired and sweaty from running, Chara stopped. She placed her left hand and her torn book on her left leg, leaned over a little and rested her right hand on the trunk of a tree next to her. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath and tried to calm down. "You won't find me here." - thought Chara. Suddenly, she felt something wet on her knee. She looked at her bandage and saw that it was soaked in blood. - "Ugh... how disgusting!" - Chara said. She remembered minutes ago, while she was being chased by the police on the mountain. In the middle of the chase, she stepped on some leaves and slipped. She barely managed to roll down the mountain until she "faced" the police. In the fall, she injured her right knee, caused by broken glass from alcohol bottles belonging to some people who were drinking on Mount Ebott. After remembering the broken glass, Chara rolled her eyes and gave a small smile remembering the fall... but became alert again as soon as she heard screams from the same police officers who were chasing her earlier getting closer and closer - "Find the girl ! She can't have gone very far!" - shouted one of the police officers. "How...already?! Are you serious?!" - thought Chara. She looked around desperately, looking for somewhere to hide; She saw a cave. "It suits!" - thought Chara. She ran as fast as she could to the cave and entered. She kept running until she saw the end of the cave, which was when she stopped. - "No way out?! You swear?!" - Chara said. "No... IT'S NOT POSSIBLE! I DIDN'T COME THIS FAR TO GET ARRESTED!" - shouted Chara. However, she couldn't believe the cave ended up there. She only took 10 steps and she could already see the wall in front of her. She wanted so badly to believe that the cave turned left or right... and she held onto that thought. She could hear the police officers' screams getting louder and louder. Chara was filled with determination and headed towards the left first, trying to find some way to escape.
Chara didn't even take two steps and tripped over a vine that was on the ground, falling into a hole and screaming in fright. - "I think she got in here!" - said one of the police officers, entering the cave. They ran to the hole where Chara had fallen, being careful not to trip and looked into the hole, seeing Chara lying, with her face turned towards poorly cared for and almost dead flowers - "She fell. Even if she fell on top of flowers, the hole must be almost 10 meters deep." - said one of the police officers. "She must be dead now. Let's go." -she finished, in a nervous voice. Calm footsteps could be heard after the sentence, getting progressively quieter until they could no longer be heard.
????, ???? - 2015.
Chara woke up. Three hours had passed after Chara fell. She was in a strange bed of flowers. The girl was having one of the worst headaches she had ever had. Her head was throbbing. Her torn book was already far from her. Chara raised her head, with her eyes closed, cautiously, and then raised her body. Blood was gushing from his right knee, and some from his left hand. Then, finally, she opened her eyes, with difficulty. It took a while for her vision to get used to that dark place. ... when she got used to it, Chara almost had a panic attack after realizing that she didn't know that place. She looked around, trying to find a way out, and remembered that she had fallen down a hole. She looked up, but it was too, too high to go back up there.
Chara was filled with determination and decided to explore the place where she was. First, she decided to look (in more detail) around her. The walls were gray, cracked and some walls had vegetation growing on them; On the floor, it was possible to see more vegetation growing from it, as well as pieces fallen from the walls. Surrounding the bed of flowers were six pillars; two broken in half, three with vegetation growing on them, and one strangely intact. Below the bed of flowers, there was grass; Near the bed of flowers, there were also more flowers growing beside her, as well as her torn book, which she had forgotten to pick up. Chara looked up; her ceiling was cracked. She walked over to pick up her torn book and remembered why it was torn. The girl was reading her book sitting under a tree, slowly eating her stolen chocolate, with a small pile of other decidedly unhealthy stolen foods beside her. In the distance, she heard screams from the same police officers who had been chasing her three hours ago, shouting things like "THEFT!" and etc. Chara, knowing they were referring to her, quickly got up and ran aimlessly as fast as she could. When Chara was almost caught up, Chara threw her book at one of the police officers' face without thinking twice. Furious, the policeman stopped, tore up his book and threw it on the ground. Chara, wanting to recover the book, somehow managed to trick the police, pick up your book again and keep running.
It was a funny memory. Those police officers were so silly. They must have been new to the position. Chara took his book and decided to explore this underground place further. She walked to the corner of the room and turned.
...a runner. Nothing very interesting. Chara simply walked through the hallway until she reached a strange entrance.
He climbed the stairs, holding onto the dusty banister, and entered the next room.
This time, it was a large room. There was a similar entrance that she had just passed through. Flowers in the center, pillars... spiders. Strangely, lots of spiders. There were cobwebs in every corner of the room. As an arachnophobe, Chara almost had another panic attack. She turned around and went down the stairs. Chara didn't want to go into that room, but she knew she would have to if she wanted to explore this underground place. Chara was filled with determination and entered the room, taking a deep breath of the dusty air of that place. She curled up, avoiding touching anything in that room and continued walking. Chara suddenly heard a voice.
- "Ahuhuhu~ Hello, dear! Why are you shaking all over?~ It's rude to be afraid of such cute and hard-working beings, you know?~" - said someone, right above Chara. The girl looked up and saw a person with six arms and several eyes, lying on top of a web. His first right arm was supporting his head. His second right arm was covering his mouth, while the person was laughing. His third right arm was running his index finger through the web, in a somewhat sensual manner. His first left arm was on his cheek. His second left arm was covering her mouth, too. His third left arm was around her waist. Strangely, the person... resembled a spider.
