Summary

I made a terrible mistake, I let my guard down when I shouldn't have. And that only led me into a trap, his trap. I was a pawn in this wicked game of chess, being used to unite two kingdoms. My life was controlled, confined within the ivory towers, a cruel destiny written before I was born. But I thought I was free at last. "No matter which road you choose, it will always lead you back to me, princess." I was a fool. He was my unwanted shadow, a darkness I couldn't shake off, catching me at every step of the way—leaving no room for escape. Slow burn/enemies to lovers.

Introduction

Hello. A long time ago, as a young teen, I had a very active imagination bursting with ideas with no sense of direction. Now that I’m more mature, I have to decided to utilise that creative idea I once had and turn it into a full blown story of my own. I don’t own anything except for my imagination. Happy reading folks. Sadiea.

Disclaimer

This is a work of fiction and any resemblance to reality is purely coincidental. It is a slow burn, enemies to lovers story and will focus on world building and character development. My characters are flawed and should be seen as flawed, I do not encourage such behaviour. The beauty of writing is that you can get away with morally grey characters because they’re not real. Having said that, treat them as such and nothing more. I appreciate feedback and constructive criticism as it will help me improve my writing style. English is not my first language and therefore it is simple mistakes that I encourage you all to correct me over. I really hope you like my work and give me support to carry on.
