WINTER WOLF

Summary

As the first snowflake settled, so did the purple rose bloomed and wilted in the same hour, it whispered secretly of a winter tale waiting to unfold. Of a prophecy beyond the gods waiting to fulfil, of a secret hiding in plain sight, of a gem known to be lost, It whispered of a queen or a queen, it whispered of the doom or the peace, it whispered of a girl.

Chapter 1

As the first snowflake settled, it whispered secretly of a winter tale waiting to unfold .

Quinera sighed with annoyance as alpha kane's second son Gilbert winked at her while locking lips with Camille, the beta's only daughter.

This so called Gilbert was her mate, her fated but he had quickly rejected her as soon as he saw her and felt the connection.

Rejection snaps faster than a twig forever but it leaves behind wanting and pain for the person who broke the connection.

Yeah the moon goddess was that way.

She disliked Gilbert and Camille so much that she had accepted the rejection as soon as he finished the sentence.

Yeah the boy adult was a complete meathead and she didn't want to have anything to do with him much more be his mate.

She sighed again then quickly and quietly left the ceremonial grounds where the joining of Gilbert and Camille was taking place, walking into the evergreen forests and taking off her shoes while letting her bare feet sink into the white beautiful snow.

Winter was the best season she had ever seen and with her being a wolf, cold didn't get to them, they thrived in the cold; well at least she does.

Her little hut came into view soon enough and she hastened into it, quickly going for the kitchen to start on their evening meal while waiting for her father to come home from the ceremony.

What Gilbert told her was hurtful but it was also the truth.

FLASHBACKS

"Mate? How insulting for the goddess to pair me with a nobody like you, an abnormality such as you, I mean she must be mistaken to have done this nonsense to me. How can I stop so low to mate a wolfless wolf? I mean an omega would be more better than this. Well I have a remedy for this nonsense this goddess have done today. I Gilbert.....

REALITY

Yeah that's basically what he had said before he straight-out rejected her.

She chuckled sadly all the while flipping the pancake and pouring into the pan the already mixed and spiced egg.

She wasn't a wolfless wolf at all but the wolf she was was not something you scream to the world about for with her powers came responsibilities and with those same powers came doom.

"I told you to stop thinking peanut, your face looks older than mine when you do that" laughter filled her face as she switched off the hot stove and stomped over to her father to give him a hug.

Her father was her all in all, he stood for her when others didn't, he fought for her when she couldn't fight, he even took her in when she was abandoned by whoever gave birth to her.

He was her pillar and she'd do anything for him.

"Father how was the ceremony? She asked him cheerily as she disengaged from the hug.

"Meh.. that boy is the worst, can't believe he's married to a meathead but then what am I even saying, he is also a meathead"

"That he is, Father. That he is"Laughter filled the hut.
