Chapter 1
José Alcádio Boendía loved the things the gypsies brought him, such as magnets, telescopes, and astrological instruments. He worked tirelessly on them, but no one appreciated him, except the Gypsy, Megadeth. José Alcádio Poindia wanted to go to the other side of the river to reach the great outside inventions, but found nothing. Disappointed, he returns to his village and begins to make preparations to relocate it, but his wife sees through this and secretly joins forces with the villagers to prevent him from doing so.
