MIA POV:The day had started like any other hectic Monday for me. Mia Anderson, struggling to juggle two part-time jobs alongside my college studies, I barely had time to catch my breath, let alone worry about the car that always seemed to be on the verge of breaking down.As I rushed out of my morning shift at the café, my heart sank at the sight of smoke billowing from the hood of my beat-up car. "Not today," I muttered under my breath, kicking the tire in frustration. It was just one more thing to add to my never-ending list of worries.With a heavy sigh, I pulled out my phone to call for a tow truck, already dreading the inevitable dent in my already stretched budget. "I can fix it for you if you'd like."I blinked in disbelief, not used to strangers offering help without expecting something in return. "Why would you do that?" I asked suspiciously, eyeing him warily.He shrugged nonchalantly, a hint of a smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Consider it a random act of kindness," he said, flashing me a charming grin that made my heart flutter despite my best efforts to resist.Reluctantly, I stepped aside to let him work, unable to shake the feeling that there was more to this stranger than met the eye.
