Chapter 1
"Siya, bring the saini Enterprises file, the one which is kept in my study to my office right now," said Mr kaushik, from the other side of the phone.
"Okay, Papa," Siya answered. She then
Quickly goes into her father's study to find a red colored file with Saini enterprises written over it. She picks it up and puts it inside her bag as she makes her way out of the study.
As she walks outside, she finds her mother staring at her, and then her mother asks, " Siya, what are you doing in your dad's study?"
"Maa dad called me and asked me to bring the saini Enterprises file to his office," replied Siya.
"Okay, hurry up, go, and give this file to your dad as soon as possible it must be urgent," Mrs kaushik remarked
Siya nodded her head and walked towards the main door of the house.
She booked a cab and waited for the cab to come and get her within 5 minutes. The cab was in front of Siya, and she opened the cab's door and sat down on the seats at the back. The cab started moving, and with one of the earbuds in her ear, she started to enjoy the ride. The windows were down, and the weather wasn't too cold nor too hot she felt the air caressing her skin and her flicks dancing with the blowing wind. She was humming to the song
Mera dil kahi door
Pahadon mein kho gaya hain
Usse mile hue mujhko toh
Arsa ho gaya hain
Mera dil kahi door
Pahadon mein kho gaya hain
The song was enough to take her back into the memory lane. The good old times, the mountains, the rivers, the scenery everything recaptulated into her mind. She was thinking about her hometown in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. From the place she and her family originally belonged to. Siya's father Ashok kaushik is the chief marketing officer (CMO) in the Raichand Enterprises. Siya's mother Mrs. Shweta kaushik is a house wife and siya is the only child to this couple. When Mr kaushik got the CMO post in Raichand Enterprises he with his family moved to Delhi. She was all into her memory lane when she heard a manly voice. Which brought her back to the reality
"We've reached ma'am," the driver claimed
"Okay, thank you," Siya said she got off the cab and paid for her ride. Now Siya was standing in front of a huge multistory building, "Raichand Enterprises," Siya proclaimed. She stood there for a while when suddenly her phone rang with her dad's caller ID on display. She tapped on the accept button to pick up the call just to hear
" Can you please bring the file to the 7th floor?"
She was left with no choice other than saying yes, so she murmured "yes," and the call got disconnected.
She walked towards the entrance and, to her surprised found the security guard stopping her from going inside.
"Ma'am I can not let you in," the security guard protested
"But why?" Siya questioned
"Because you don't have a visiting pass, and we've been strictly told not to let anybody in without the visiting pass, especially when they have to meet a particular colleague," he told Siya
Siya, for once, I thought that I could give this file to him so that he can give it to dad, but dad said it was urgent, and this seems like an important file so I can not be so careless with it.
" Bhaiya main chor nahi hoon mujhe yeh file deni hain bas"
"Give me the file. I'll deliver the file"
"No," Siya said
"My father works here," Siya exclaimed
She then called her father and made her father talk to the security, and only then was he satisfied.
She walked towards the elevator and waited for it to come. As soon as the elevator came, she went inside it. She pressed button number 7 on the panel. The door to the elevator was about to get close when she saw a firm muscular arm stopping the elevator door from closing, and he succeeded in doing so.
Siya's eye traveled to the elevator door where she saw a 6'2 "feet tall guy standing in front of her, and with a blink of an eye, he was inside the elevator with Siya.
He was in a business suit with a white shirt underneath and black pants, his white shirt hugging his muscular body just so perfectly. The only cologne that was overpowering the elevator's atmosphere was the one he was wearing. His wavy black hair complemented his look, and a pair of gray piercing eyes. A man out of novel with strong features.
He pressed the number '9' on the elevator number panel and heard Siya muttering to herself
" Aur Kitna late karwaoge Mahadev"
Within a few minutes, the elevator was on the 7th floor, and Siya smiled with relief. The moment she smiled, her beautiful smile was accompanied by her prominent dimples being formed on either side of her Cheeks. Little did she knew that someone's peripheral view was on her and her beautiful smile.
She hurriedly left the elevator and while leaving the elevator one of her jhumka fell down on the elevator's floor of which she was not aware of.
The man in the elevator bend down to pick up the jhumka and then he kept it onto his suit's pocket. He chuckled as he recalled the moment he saw Siya smiling. The elevator door closed and Siya saw his dad just a few step away from him and she gave the file to him and then returned back.
The elevator was on 9th floor now and the man walked out of it and entered his cabin with a smile on his face.
