Chapter 1
Ariana is the daughter of the moon goddess (which she will learn later) she is sent back to help the shifters and unite them. She was found when she was 1 year old by an older couple, and when Ariana was 16 years old, she lost her "parents" in a battle with Rogues and Vampires. After their deaths, she was kicked out of the pack and wandered around Lived in the forest and worked for her living.
On her 18th birthday, she will get her wolf (Snowie) and all the powers that come with it as the daughter of the moon goddess. Will she be able to help the shifters and find love in the meantime?
Mark is 26 years old he took over as Alpha of the Silver Crown Pack when his father died when Mark was 21 years old. In the 5 years that he has been the alpha of the pack, Mark has made the pack big and strong, they are now known as the strongest pack with the best fighters. Mark is known as a friendly but powerful alpha who gives everything for his pack... Even though Mark is already 26 years old, he has not yet found his mate, but he does not give up... he is sure that when the time comes, the Moon Goddess will ensure that he finds his mate.
In the Past
"Mom, you wanted to speak to me?" Asked Ariana to her mother ... who others known as the Moon Goddess. "Yes, dear sit. This is important. Present Time
Louise Callingham is working in her flower shop when the doorbell rings. "Can I help you??" A young girl with hair so blonde that it almost looks white walks towards her. "Ahh sweet girl yes I still need someone, how old are you?" The girl smiles kindly at her... "I am almost 18 years old. I have always worked a lot with plants and flowers." Meanwhile in the packhouse of the Silver Crown Pack Mark is working in his office, he has been feeling restless all day and cannot concentrate well, his thoughts are flying everywhere except where he needs to be. Then someone knocks and his Beta Sean enters. "Are you still working on the same thing?" Sean asks to Mark, "Yes, I don't know what it is, I have such unrest in my body. King feels it too... he wants to get out." Sean nods and indicates that he should give his wolf a chance, he will need it. Mark indicates that he would like to, but that there is still a lot to do... But then he throws his nose in the air, what do I smell, he thinks, and asks Sean if he smells anything special... Sean says no, but that Louise is busy placing the flowers. Maybe that’s it. “No,” says Mark, “it’s something else.”
Mark gets up and follows the smell... Strawberries with a coating of warm chocolate sauce yum. Is someone cooking? He sees Louise busy with the flowers, ever since his mother became Luna, fresh flowers have been placed in the pack house every week... he has left it that way... it gives him a good, welcome, and cared for feeling in the house. Louise has been providing fresh flowers every week for almost 30 years. Mark walks up to her and says. "Louise, you have outdone yourself this time, it is even more beautiful than usual... but I still smell it, do you have a new sort of fresh flowers? Louise looks at him and frowns..."No, the same flowers... all the bouquets were made by my new helper who will help me temporarily until Mary returns." "I smell strawberries with warm chocolate sauce........ huh now the smell is gone. What is that for a person who helps you??" Louise looks at him and thinks then she smiles. "A young girl she is almost 18 ... I haven't seen her before she is kind and talented as you can see". Mark nods but can’t get his head around where that smell has gone... also, his wolf is even more restless than he already was... he needs to go running. "It's nice that you have help now... Louise thanks for the beautiful flowers again, I must go." Mark tells Sean that he is giving his wolf a chance to run and that he will be back later.
Mark undresses and runs towards the woods... he gives King full control, first King runs towards the village, he knows he has to stay in the shelter of the forest, the village belongs to the pack and many pack people live there but some people are not shifters, although almost everyone who lives there is aware of it, they still want to confront them as little as possible, and also because there are people from outside who come to the village who are not aware of this. After running around the village for a bit, King seems to pick up something... and heads off in a different direction... deeper into the forest... he gets closer and closer to the border of their property... until suddenly they see a house just across the border.
Mark tells King his wolf “I’ve never seen this here before”. King’s wolf answers “No... It seemed like I smelled that smell again, very slightly strawberries with warm chocolate sauce on top... but it’s gone again.” Mark tells King "Let's go back a bit, I hid some clothes there once... and then we can see who lives here." After shifting back, he dresses in a shirt and stretch pants and walks towards the house... everything seems quiet and there seems to be no life... but it does look well cared for. When he walks around, he sees a door and knocks on it... after waiting for a while there is no response... He tries again... but nothing... he tries the door, and it is open, he opens it carefully.
Wow, Mark thinks someone must live here, it looks nice and comfortable... a room with a dining area, a bed, and a comfortable pair of chairs. A fireplace that is burning even now, which makes it wonderfully comfortable ... in the evening it is still quite chilly, and a fireplace is, of course, wonderful ... the kitchen is in the same room, there are still two doors, to a bathroom and something else....... Mark quickly leaves and decides to do some research, this is just on the border, just not in their territory, but that half-meter difference is still important to who lives here, and why they didn’t do this before. Then his thoughts go in a different direction... how is it possible that he occasionally smells his favorite scents... and then it's gone again? How is that possible?
